Between our five strikers 16:59 - Aug 18 with 2372 views | AtThePeake | This may not be 100% accurate as I've taken the stats from Wikipedia and done some quick sums in my head but I've worked out that our five strikers (George Donnelly, Jack Muldoon, Joe Bunney, Calvin Andrew and Callum Camps) have played in 323 football league games between them, scoring 33 football league goals. We need a goalscorer.

Played as the lone striker at Fylde didn't he? And then at Halifax I'm sure he played in the same position. He has played in the FL once before though - came on in that 2-2 draw against Port Vale, so only Muldoon is yet to play an FL game.

Camps also came on v Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup.

No, Camps is an attacking midfielder like Henderson.

Between our five strikers on 12:33 - Aug 19 with 1777 views | ParkinsGimp | I am getting concerend at all the pressure that will be heaped on Muldoon , when/if he gets fit. The lad has never played a FL game , its a massive step up from Worksop. So many are pinning their hopes on him being the next wonder kid. I really hope he is but its unfair to expect too much, Camps is also learning , same as Bunney. The other two should be run out of town, both shocking excuses for forwards. Yes we do need a forward but lets not put the other young guys in with the two main numpties. But its a shocking stat that OP has raised especially at this level. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Between our five strikers on 12:44 - Aug 19 with 1743 views | BarryStrange | The thing that is surprising is that it was obvious to all and sundry that Hogan was going to leave, indeed he left quite some while ago now, and the problem just hasn't been sorted. Which isn't really like Hill, who traditionally tackles problems before they have properly arisen.
Between our five strikers on 12:54 - Aug 19 with 1700 views | Scunnydale | Hill has said he won't rush in to signing a striker, tbf. He's definitely sticking to his words! If he gets the one we Hope he gets, or one as good, these games should become a distant memory. If not, then the delay becomes a stick with which to beat him (not that we should). With Hill holding out for his man, these games were always going to be painful as everyone involved at the club knows we need a goalscorer.

Arguably he did. Whilst we've no idea if he's any good or not, but the signing of Muldoon and working with him last season was exactly that. I know its big expectations on him given where he's come from, but you'd have assumed that given he'd trained with us for a long period before signing that he's of a good standard.

I'm sticking with My Starting XI which would be; Formation 3-5-2 --------------------------Logan------------------------------ ---------Rafferty------Kennedy------Bennett-------- Dawson----Camps----Allen----Done -----Vincenti --------------Henderson----Logan----------------------- Used Subs: Rose (76th Min Sub) for Camps, Bunney (54th Min Sub) for Logan, Eastham (85th Min Sub) for Done, Unused Subs: Diba, McGinty, Andrew, Donnelly Formation after Subs 4-4-1-1 (The feeding Bunney) --------------------------Logan------------------------------ -----Rafferty--Eastham---Kennedy---Bennett-------- -------Dawson----Rose----Allen----Vincenti-------- --------------------Henderson---------------------- ---------------------Bunney--------------------------- Might be weakened by just one defender at the back but much chance of scoring an goal or an few but can be tightened

I like how you have enough faith in your team selection to know at exactly what minute you be making subs.

Good comeback tazzy Although bringing Eastham on when you're 2-1 down seems plain daft tbf

Think it's awesome that you think Dale can score but saying that our reserves showed you some proper football over pre-season

Nah Deezel, Eastham will come on then as we will be 4-0 up!! ( Done Hat trick standing ovation ).
Between our five strikers on 13:56 - Aug 19 with 1471 views | alex_roch39 | I wish people would stop going on and on about the striker situation. We all know we need a striker and I'm sure Hill is doing his utmost to sign one within our wage structure. All we can do is support the team with what we have at the moment. Slagging players off does nothing to help the cause, it only makes things worse.
