Good memories of big Dave at dale but love the second photo, who is that behind daggers?
Also funny to see doolan in the background appear to be arguing with one of their players whilst everyone else celebrating, in fairness he would not have kept up!
I am going for 96/97 purely as I loved that era at the club and I saw far more games then, tough call though!

Another top top player in that photo, Stanton was a class act and had that nasty side we seem to lack all to often in recent years,a solid defender in every sense of the word and deceptively fast.

I asked Doolan why he was heading the other way at a Trust curry night once and he said it was because his son was in the pearl street stand and he was heading for him.
