The RochdaleAFC.com Podcast - Episode 32 on 12:41 - Jan 29 with 744 views | jonahwhereru | Really interesting and thought provoking podcast. Thanks lads. Regarding the discussion on recruitment in the division this window, I agree that recruitment does not necessarily mean better quality. But it does increase squad depth. As was highlighted it was frustrating that Oxford could throw more subs on in one rotation than we could in two games. Very few of our subs will get a game unless there is an injury or we have a lead and literally just need an energetic presser late on. We could stay up without additions but with 2 games a week and such little managerial confidence in the youngsters we need the physio to have a blinder and do a Lazarus for us several times over. Thanks again.

Regarding recruitment in this window, I was surprised to see that in the Premier League there have only been 4 permanent transfers this month, and none of those are remotely what you'd call 'big' transfers. Brexit and Covid-19 are teaming up to brew up a cauldron of uncertainty, it seems.
The RochdaleAFC.com Podcast - Episode 32 on 17:14 - Jan 29 with 567 views | 442Dale | Halfway through and a great listen so far, well worth investing the time for anyone who hasn’t so far. Illustrates how fans really do get the game and can identify issues that need addressing. Might be way off the mark, but it’s that overriding feeling of how baffled people are that the manager isn’t looking at sorting out the blatantly obvious problems. Chaff summed it up with that example of how we almost conceded from our own corner early on in Tuesday. Why can’t BBM ensure his players aren’t thinking of potential threats and adjusting their play and choices accordingly?

Listening back during the edit I must admit I felt that I sounded a lot harsher towards BBM than I actually feel. He has my backing and I fully believe he is the right man for the club still - I just want to see improvements that I know can be made.

Biggest problem was talking about the pink kit worn at Bristol Rovers two years ago and failing to mention the away white socks with blue and black on the turnover were used with it, whereas previously we’d seen plain white versions with the pink shirt and shorts. Ruined the evening.

Albeit a good listen - they always are - it's probably for me just edged into 3rd behind the manager interview which itself is a long 2nd best to the R17 anecdotes.
