Another crazy decision. The man worked minor miracles to achieve what he did at Bramall Lane. They should be building a statue to him, not sacking him. Another club somewhere will benefit massively when he gets his next job.

Think the summer transfer window did for Wilder. Big money spent on Brewster and Ramsdale and neither have delivered.

Tangled up in blue.

Did they pay millions for Brewster?

Did you know about it weeks ago?

Add on Henderson who is back at Man U, the lack of crowds and the fact he only has about 2 or 3 premier quality players in there. He has worked wonders.

Thought Sheff U would have done a Burnley and kept hold of him to bounce then back up again next season.

Don't think he will be short of offers with his record.

I think this one is pretty mutual. He’s had a sour relationship with the owners for a while and he is his own man

The whole boardroom shenanigans at Bramall Lane have featured in Sheffield local press for what seems years but Wilder always rose above it. We saw the Blades at Spotland regularly from 2011 as managers came and went Wilder was the man to take them up. The recent relationship with owner Prince Abdullah hasn't been great as evidenced by no incomings during January transfer window. I take comfort in local ownership even in these tough times.
