Very sad news, what a brilliant striker he was.

Poll: Will you be signing up to Direct Debit for Goldbond?

Fantastic player, with unbelievable talent. How you would value a player of his calibre in today's feeding frenzy is mind-boggling.

He always came across as a thoroughly humble and decent man. A sad loss for sure, especially at such a relatively young age.

Rest in Peace, Trevor.

Decent manager as well as a great player and always came across as a decent lad.
He was virtually the same age as myself and it seemed quite surreal that, when I was 16 and doing my “O” levels at Bishop Henshaw, he was already in the first team and scoring goals at Birmingham City!

Another former Forest and Sheffield Wednesday player, Chris Bart-Williams, has also passed away today, age 49.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

The first £1m football transfer.. the equivalent of over £250m today apparently.
