Looking at the fixtures again I wonder if there was any of sort of lobbying from the part-time Southern clubs against long trips on Tuesday nights?
Or did the police have an input?
Either way it’s a loss of revenue if teams with larger away followings are coming to COA on Tuesday nights as opposed to Saturday afternoons. [Post edited 10 Jul 2024 18:26]

Don’t think so. If you look at the fixtures for the league for the whole season, there are plenty of long midweek trips, Maidenhead coming to Spotland, for instance.
We just happen to have landed four of our better fixtures on a Tuesday night. Next time they could be Saturdays. | |

I went to the Google calendar and at the bottom where it shows the additional calendars, I just unchecked and then re-checked the Rochdale fixtures box and HeyPresto.
