I agree with your comments but the reality is that this happens in all walks of life.
If you're offered more money to do the same job then most people would take it.
I'm not defending Ross Stewarts stance because I think he owes our club after the way we have protected, paid & nursed him back to playing again.
Despite him being a useful Championship player I have reservations about him staying fit.
So it might not be the end of the world if he leaves. |

Like the rest of us you don't know the facts & what you've put together is just your opinion of the events.
We could all consider the information that's been made public & come up with a different outcome.
We don't know is the full extent the situation regarding William Salt.
Is he a an employee or was he at the time of the so called event.
This is what will be decided on Tuesday.
But I would like to know is will Salt be attending that Investigation on Tuesday.
The outcome really does depend on what he has to say about it.

He constantly committed fouls & gave away free kicks & got away with it,
Ryan Manning commits just one foul & gets booked for it which means that he cannot play at Wembley, just hope that Wellington is fit to play.
What I was most impressed with was our attitude, we played without fear.

It definitely looks like this is the case.
The club had to change & to do this you probably upset a few people.
But we did have too much dead wood that needed removing, sometimes you have to take a step backwards before you can go forward.
Removing the dead wood also boosts the finances of the club, I think we all tend to forget that a football club is a business & has to be managed as such.
The last couple of years have been dire, if this is the start of rebuilding then I applaud it. |

Looks like the club have applied the old rule " First in, Last out".
Slack Jack at his best has been average Championship player at 31 years old he ain't going to get any better.
The captain has to earn respect from the fans & his fellow team mates, unfortunately Slack Jack's performances & behaviour (sending off's) do not command respect. |

Two problems with JWP returning.
1) his wages
2) he no longer has his protector in Oriel Romeu to do the dirty work for him.

Delap would be an expensive risk.
He's unproven at Premier lge level & not exactly been prolific in Championship.
All of the forwards (CA + AA + RS) have much record of scoring in Championship so why would we spend 20m on Delap.
He could be good but most likely be nothing special.
I seriously think we need an upgrade on what we've already got & Delap is not that.
If we don't manage to get anyone in then give Dom Ballatd an opportunity, his goalscoring record is every bit as good as Delaps.
It looks like Delap will choose to sign for The Tractor Boys, that will save us wasting 15m + add ons. |
