Yesterday's win is a very small step in the right direction.

One would hope we can beat Portsmouth on Tuesday night but it won't be easy.

But what happens after that. Stoke away, Wrexham home and Coventry away. A tough run.

I read on Phil's site that some of the owners were in attendance yesterday - it makes you wonder what they think of this underperformance so far this season.

Any way 9 more wins / 27 points and we will be safe!

I expected us to beat QPR and Derby but we got nothing.

All the problems over the last 3-4 years have caught up with us and we are now paying for it.

Saturday - WBA away
Saturday 6th - Oxford home
Tuesday 9th - Portsmouth home

Two months ago I would have expected 7 points out of 9.
Now, being realistic can we hope for 4.
(lose to West Brom, and win/draw the next two at home).

Thoughts?

It makes you wonder if over the last 5-6 months the club seems more focused on the off field activities such as Modric, Snoop Dogg. I would imagine if this poor form continues that they may start to distance themselves on social media etc.

Yep. Stuart James (The Athletic) broker the Sheehan departure 2 hours before the club announcement.

The Athletic are also claiming it is 1m euros and I think there is a lot of focus on the fee as it will impact FFP over the next 12 months. Lets hope it is the lower total ie £300k.

Just a hunch but I expect O'Dea will now be in charge for the next three games.

And if he gets 4-6 points will probably get the job until the end of the season.

The moment Steve Gibson came in - there was only going to be one winner.

& as I said last week - we need more experience at the club when it comes to the big decisions/moves.
