Ohh that makes a lot more sense. Sorry OP and completely agree then! |

You can talk anything about Burrell so far but not his work rate and definitely not his pace I think you just haven't seen pace in this team and forgotten what it looked like He was giving that defence a torrid time. I think they much enjoyed the 2nd half compared to the 1st |

Yeah you might have a point, I think the plan is to lose the rest of our games and eventually have Kone playing at Athletic Newham again. Project exposed |

We'll let Richard Kone explain his thoughts, after choosing us over Leicester, Toulouse, Swansea “It was a really positive chat,” he said. “They showed me the project and it was really exciting.” Like with Poku, they're not choosing us over a bunch of other clubs for no reason. We've seen short term improvements, but best not to conclude your final thoughts on this whole thing until we get a few years to see this all in play. Enjoy the ride :) |

It's on WLS, read OP "Rangers are also looking to bring in left-back Rhys Norrington-Davies from Sheffield United, but that move currently seems to hinge on the Yorkshire club signing another defender." |

Thank you for the insight and this is really exciting. Kone Dembele Chair Poku We're really building an EFL super team with our attack |

Fair enough I do wonder in the world we didn't concede such an awful goal and that ended 1-0, would it still be a car crash season, we're doomed? I'd imagine there wouldn't be such a hyperbolic response but I wouldn't expect anything less in a football forum |

Myke, WLS just said there will be young players in the squad. Just like the Preston game we had Esquerdinha, Morgan, Kolli, Bennie, Sutton, Mccann in the squad. There is no difference and you could quite literally copy and paste. "New boss, same shite" Based on what? Let's not just start writing off a manager based on assumptions and previous QPR managers. We're talking about a bloke who has won a major domestic cup in his country. That's rubbish talking about him like that before we've even seen the team sheet, imo |

Let Nourry cook. Hoping it isn't a move out of desperation, taking a risk on a player Schalke are so happy to get rid off, jury's out for me |

Car crash season after a 1-1 draw with Preston loving the level headed responses one game into the season |

It'll just be tanked by people logging in and rating Madsen a 1 for the crime of having the last name Madsen. Wouldn't take much notice of this |

The squad players have to be a part of the squad and have their chance to impress at some point surely. Stephan won the equivalent of the FA Cup in France, he knows the importance so I don't think he'll go full Dev Squad like some suggest in this thread. |
 | Forum Reply | Carabao Cup at 11:18 11 Aug 2025
Sounds like a nothing burger article, replace Nardis name for Walsh and you could've said the exact same sentence about the PNE game. Think it'll be a mix anyway. A good moment to give extended minutes to the likes of Vale, Burrell, Kolli, Sutton etc. |

They're playing him in the midfield 3 btw and he's largely impressed the Newcastle fans with his performance vs Atletico, maybe that's his position after all! Wouldn't have minded him back, thought he was decent towards the end of the season, to come back from all the hate and the long absence from the squad has to say something about the character |

Reports out of Germany that the Pape Ba deal looks to be delayed not just due to VISA issues now, but apparently he's not passed medical checks either. A translation says we'll now only take him if there is no transfer fee |

Of course, but as you say it's just a rumour, we don't know. There's no replacing someone like Jimmy but feel like Mbengue would do well in a similar role. Very impressed by him on the weekend |
 | Forum Reply | The QPR summer transfer rumours thread at 10:36 11 Aug 2025
Sorry because off topic, this is the transfer thread but... do I have it wrong or is it this?: Frey and JCS (back in a month) Dunne, Poku and Larkeche (rumoured, can't comment, TBC) Smyth and Varane are back on the weekend. Is there anyone else? I feel like our injury situation has been a lot worse than this in the past From the current window, left back is a necessity for me. One injury to Larkeche and we can't rely on Esquerdinha to play every game in a debut season. I also don't think it's fair on Adamson to stick him out there, that feels like Santos level scapegoating. Hopefully then some CM cover. I'm hopeful with the likes of Talla and Tuck to provide valuable contributions but an experienced player here would be good |
