I am going to go out on a bit of a limb and say I do feel more positive now than I did before this started. That's not to say I'm happy but they have mostly fronted up today.

Sadly the Morley question was only part asked. The question was why he sprints back to left back when we get the ball and does BBM feel that we then lose the ability to pass through midfield.

In the words of dodgy 90s band Dodgy, if it's good enough for you it's good enough for me.

I hope it never happens. We've moved on now and he's moved on. Hope it works out for everyone.

But if it doesn't................

It is true though, a number didn't forgive him. Might be a very low number but it was a number.

I think this is a fair thread actually, despite being 100% in the Hill in brigade. Helps put an end to things. Maybe we can all pull back together and go again. Only time will be able to judge if the board did the right thing, but I certainly hope so. The new good times are calling.

So many things to choose from, and great to read about them. For players, the impact that Scott Hogan had in one season was absolutely immense.

Goals, Hendo v Leeds for quality, Thompson v Charlton will probably always be my favourite goal though. He whole fairytale of it all.

The best thing about the majority of the Hill Years can be summed up in a few phrases; No Fear, Footballers them to death and Team Rochdale. Make no mistake we were all those things. I so hope they come back one day.

Was at work and someone put some music on today. After a while Wonderwall came on and I nearly started crying. I made everyone stop what they were doing so I could reminisce.

Thank you Keith for bringing me joy I'd just about given up on having as a Dale fan. I'm looking forward to the third spell already.

Some very good logic in this thread. Agree with most of it. RAFC New Year resolutions:

1) Stop treating the fans as idiots - we’re not
2) Be positive

We're 16th in League One.

Where did it all go right?

I’m not sure. Lee Hodges still holds that record for me.

I know this has been said before but please can these type of questions be asked by the club in the pre-match interviews? Hill wants the fans on his side and backing the players but the lack of communication coming back the other way doesn't half create problems. Just let us in on some of your thinking Keith, let us know who is injured and who isn't. It doesn't weaken your position and wouldn't give the opposition an advantage. I know many people seem to have already turned on Hill (which I can't quite understand) but we do need something back occasionally.

New Manager Please..
at 18:02 29 Nov 2018

I am, and probably always will be, against ever sacking Keith Hill. The greatest manager we have ever had by far.

However, his interviews that always used to entertain me often annoy me now as he does tend to treat those listening as though they are utterly stupid. He is a master at saying lots without saying anything and it does seem that something has gone sour for him. We have a squad that is too big with some very odd chopping and changing that we often can't fathom out. I know Keith doesn't think he ever needs to explain things to non football people but it would be nice to feel we are all in this together.

Having said that, I still think he is the best manager for us and I'd be gutted if he went.

No idea.

Probably around 1984. My dad might know.

Is it me or is the world we live (and type) in now completely polarised? Everything seems to be black or white, one extreme to another, and if you disagree with someone else's opinion you are the enemy. It's all I read on Twitter etc.

That post not really related to the OP or the rest of this thread.
