Having been to Alty for the first time last Saturday would imagine there will be a need for some ground upgrades should they make it into the EFL.
2 or 3 of the team looked half decent but feel they would struggle big style without a few signings should they go up.
Appreciate they had little to play for ,so perhaps getting a slightly biased view |

If as and when a player has been sold and goes on to have what can be seen as a relatively successful career, it becomes easy to suggest that we were "shafted" by the buyers, but not perhaps when the buyers took what is a gamble on young talent and it hasn't as of yet paid off.I am thinking of Adshead,Matheson and Baah as more recent examples were we might consider ourselves to have got a reasonable deal |

I wasn't convinced that the tackle deserved a red card but the inconsistency of refereeing decisions must be very frustrating when for those who watched todays game at Old Trafford , in my opinion if ever there was a nailed on red card it was the tackle from Casemiro on Diaz in the last few seconds of the game ,but just a yellow card was issued |

To me it looked a bit harsh but then I am from a previous era so perhaps that helps my view but certainly seen worse tackles this season than that one that have not received the ultimate punishment.
Just an outside the box thought perhaps Mitchell is insisting an appeal is made ,the club perhaps wishing to support the player agree on the proviso that should the appeal be lost, Mitchell covers the cost. |

Was only able to watch 1st half,so my view may be a little skewed.
Could see there was a game plan of containment but thought little changed once we went behind.
Wasn't too happy with Chapman over goal as previously posted but felt front two struggled to retain the ball and thus gave us little chance to build on any ball played forward
Hayes did OK but little else in front players to get excited about |

I know we could have had an emergency loan, but the season does end in a months time and perhaps Chapman may have been told that his days at Huddersfield are coming to an end and this gives him a chance to show what he can do |

On the Moulden situation, could be that the step up in level of football into Div 1 means that he has found it more difficult as it is to the best of my knowledge the first foray into the EFL |
