I was watching DAZN for the German region and they didn't show any replays of that incident. It looked to me that the defender got a shove in the back, not sure what actually happened?
Cheers! Twitter is terrible at the moment. Hard to tell who is a journo in amongst all the porn, adverts and racism on my timeline! -- with a smattering of football thrown in ;p
Not wanting to be funny, but that tweet is from someone called Jon Harland, not JS himself. Is Jon a journalist? He's not even got a blue tick, so until its on the Barnsley website I'll take it with a pinch of salt.
Personally that injury list release and the releases to WLS hint that we may see some DS players on Sunday and the club is preparing us for that
You never know? January is usually the window for clubs looking for FW's when scoring is a problem.
I doubt we will sell Kolli for much, given his lack of experience. The spin will probably be on a large sell on fee if/when he goes.
I think for Varane and Madsen the game is to get them to 50+ apps in the Champ which adds some perceived value to them, sort of de-risks any bidders.
Not sure there are any other stand outs. I always thought Chair would be sold on, but his recent injury spells have killed this and I don't see a dream move coming anytime for him. -- Interestingly when I played FIFA he always went to Leicester or Brighton!
Have they caught up with Leicester yet? I thought the league wanted blood, as they have broke the rules a few times haven't they?
Personally I'd be wary, as we literally have only just recovered from Warburtons swing and a miss season, where we handed out some large contracts without selling anyone
I don't like this stat. For example is Raya the best GK in the premier league? Arsenal have the least goals conceded Trouble is Raya might only have two shots to save all game, so I don't know.
Sometimes the better keepers are in the worse teams, because they have more to do?
Either way, I reckon Nardi might be out again, as that knock looked painful
I dunno, I think the throw is mostly technique, like a good golf shot.
The throws that are hard to defend are quick with a flat trajectory, not sure that favours a taller pivot point?
And back to my other point, if Smyth is on the pitch is he better used trying to win a header, or delivering the ball for one? -- Saying that he nearly put his headed goals total to three last night, so what do i know?
I'm guessing they are also looking at all the possible outcomes from a set piece.
So, If Chair is on the pitch but doesn't take the corner, where does he fit? He's probably not in the box, too small He's probably not on the halfway line to track back, too slow So, he might just be a compromise for the team.
Cook might be able to throw the ball further, but he's probably more use in the box causing problems trying to win a header
The process I've gone through in "proper" jobs is; New job created, which combines two roles. Affected roles placed into a pool and asked to interview for the the new role/s Opportunity to take a voluntary redundancy Interviews happen Business selects who they want Unsuccessful applicant invited to apply for any open positions that might fit, and then offered a settlement. The settlement is normally a bit more than statutory redundancy, so that the employee will sign an NDA and forgo the right to appeal to an employment tribunal.
This probably explains why Furlong hasn't made too much comment about this and the note on the official site was perfunctory.
It's a common way for a business to manage someone out of a position you don't want them in, or realise some savings if you can combine roles.
Hopefully our head of cycling proficiency has got them on a slow burn fitness plan, so we should start to see the rewards of our favourite players as we getting into the busy winter period.
That is when he's not publicly castigating our young talent in front of his compatriots in the canteen
