BW created his 90% availability by discounting players injured before the season started and counting players who might have been fit enough to play 10' Or, widening the scope to include kids and ladies teams, if the data suits the intended result
So, a report requester might go to a data analyst to say "draw me a graph that proves X" And the research works backwards
We'd need to ask 'Arry what mad loan deals he created.
I reckon some of his loans must have been akin to the parent club pay x% of the wages if the player is in the first team, otherwise Rangers pay the full wage, or a larger %
Otherwise, there is no explanation for players like Will Keane, Macheda, or the Brazilian fullback from Man Utd, or most of them in fact...
I understand what a PhD is. The post I replied to mentioned they would be interested to know what a Doctor thought about the use of kinetic tape, she isn't an MD, if that makes a difference?
Being a Dr in Philosophy, she could probably help me understand why I'm thinking about this
*edit she did a BSc in Sports Psychology, which is the thing before the PhD
I'm not trying to belittle her, just think its interesting when you see someone, like Dr Gillian McKeith being presented on TV with the same gravitas as Dr Xand, talking about similar subjects when only one of them is a medical doctor
My uncle was the club Dr for a lower league team that Mourinho's team played. After the game Mourinho presented the other team with a comprehensive dossier they had compiled about them, showing which side they preferred, patterns of play etc..
I think the Chelsea team had all signed it as some kind of gift.
There is no way that it is just Bielsa and the Southampton manager who have ever done this.
I'm pretty sure there is a time constraint around the "viewing" of training sessions as well, but I think the EFL just want this to blow over, as it could be the tip of an iceberg that would be hugely complicated to legislate.
Remember when Sheff Utd wanted to sue West Ham? Imagine if we found out Coventry cheated last season, in theory every other club could have a case to bring. Someone got relegated that shouldn't have, another team missed out on a promotion, the cases could go on for years!
Aren't QPR still paying for their record fine when we got caught cheating? I mean it was pretty obvious we broke all the financial rules, but even now our punishment was much more severe than Chelsea, Man City or even Leicester subsequently
You can catch them coming up and down from the gantry. I got to have a long chat with Bradley Allen once, what a player he was, must have been tough coming from such a great footballing family like that
I'm not sure thats right. The first half was so poor it was hard to tell, but I think the players were rotating who was playing "10" If Kamara pushed forward Varane and Madsen dropped, but I saw a few times Varane at the top of the midfield and also Madsen.
Varane maybe unlucky to be subbed to fix the formation, as Kamara was having a stinker in that first half, with Madsen not far behind him.
I'd love to know what they said at half time, as by 60' I didn't even notice we were a man short and PNE looked terrified of the ball, just aimlessly pumping it long, when they weren't time wasting
Do you think this was filmed before they got pumped by West Ham?
This is a funny spot, and we should never stop reminding everyone of Southampton's cheating, but Disney FC are terrible.
I just don't see how their story ends.
If they don't get promoted to the Premier League people will get bored of watching a series about a Championship team every year (ask us how we know).
Then the sponsorship starts to dry up, the club starts losing money again, the owners get bored. They can't invest to the levels they did before because of regulations, they want to sell up and recoup some money. No-one wants to buy a Welsh Championship club that loses money, so they stagnate, maybe they get relegated.
Anyway, I forget my point now...
Oh yeah, funny advert, but I'm not sure Disney FC can take the moral high ground when they are also cheating in a different way
We shouldn't focus on the Haka too much. I think what Ainsworth was trying to do in that session was find out quickly who was "on board" and who was going to take the p1ss, just a character test really.
One of the reasons I think that him and Dobson were so successful at Wycombe was that the players there had the hunger, they needed to progress.
Some of the players Ainsworth had thought they had already made it, so were not in the same headspace.
It was a bad appointment and another example of the owners bowing to popular choices to bring in a fans favourite, even if it meant a complete change in direction/style and playing staff.
The clever thing that Warnock did with Adel was to bring the team along with this. Players like Hill, Derry and Mackie knew that they would have to run twice as hard, do twice as much tracking back because Adel wasn't going to. This worked when we were winning, but once we started losing and Warnock wasn't around the dissent started and the rot was there. Combine that with pay disparity and we had a toxic dressing that took years to correct.
I like Kolli, but I don't think you can build a Championship winning team around him, or he's worth upsetting the rest of the squad for.
I'm not sure its just about running around, its attitude and application.
A lot of people thought Barton worked hard when he played for us. This goes to show how large a part perception is. This is directly affected by your actions, what you say and do and these can be easy to change
Maybe slow the pace down, do less distance but run more often?
I found just running Saturdays plateau'd me. I didn't start feeling more energised until I ran midweek as well. After a few weeks I wasn't creaking round the house on Sundays!
Remember to warm up before and stretch out afterwards this also helps!
It sounds like the whole squad have been told "work hard and you will get in the first team" This is a pretty clear message and it appears to be true, as the coach himself has confirmed this on a few separate occasions.
Now, if one player is picked for the first team and the rest of the squad can see that he has not worked hard, then I believe this will do more damage than good.
It takes a long time to change a culture in any team. The captain confirmed that there is a good spirit in the squad at the moment.
Why try and change that by bending a "non-negotiable"?
I'm not ITK, but it sounds like Rayan knows what he needs to do to get in the first team. I don't think its attend home and away games with the fans, I don't think that its posting on social media, I think its just as simple as listening to advice from the coach and acting on it.
I'd love to see Rayan get a run in the team. He is more likely to score a goal than Lloyd, I don't think anyone would argue against that, but his reintroduction into the team needs to be done on his merit, and that sounds like attitude and application to me.
