West Brom have recalled defender Gianni Zuiverloon from his loan spell at Town early to cover for injuries and suspensions at the Hawthorns. The Dutchman was due to remain at Portman Road until January 4th.

The former Heerenveen man’s early exit means that Town find them short of a recognised right-back with Jaime Peters, Tom Eastman or Troy Brown likely to fill in until the transfer window opens and manager Roy Keane is able to add to his squad.

Zuiverloon, 23, made four appearances during his time with the Blues.
