![]() Monday, 5th Jan 2009 22:18 Bristol City manager Gary Johnson is eyeing up a cup tie against his former club Histon if all goes to (his) plan Johnson is a former Histon player and he will entertain his former side in the fourth round if he can overcome holders Portsmouth and Histon beat the Swans a week on Tuesday. And that are the two results that he wants after yesterday's draw. Johnson told BBC Sport "It's a good draw. You can't get too excited but I hope it's Histon for personal reasons. "I lived up in that area running a successful business and playing part time for Newmarket, Histon and Soham, flitting and flirting between whoever would have me. "I enjoyed my time at Histon and I've got links with the manager Steve Fallon, who's been in that area for a long time, and of course John Beck, who I worked with at Cambridge for seven years. We had some good times together." Johnson was pleased to get a potential home draw in the next round but knows there's work to be done for both City and Histon if his dream tie is to come to fruition. "Swansea are going to be formidable, but Histon will give them a game and that won't be an easy tie for Swansea," he said. "And we've got to try and get through the Portsmouth one if we can."
