A bid for Luton Town skipper Chris Coyne has been accepted and the player is now discussing terms with the U's.

With Luton in deep financial trouble, the Hatters have now accepted an offer for Chris Coyne (having previously turned down a bid earlier this week), and the player is now believed to be thinking over a move to the U’s this weekend.

Luton boss Kevin Blackwell has confirmed that talks have taken place between Coyne and the U's, but with an attractive FA Cup tie at home to Liverpool on Sunday, the Australian's decision whether or not to leave Kenilworth Road is thought to have been put on hold until after this match.
