Easily the best of the players coming through so I am delighted that we have sent him out on loan. I look forward to us signing a 30 year old Italian or such like on a 3 year deal. Welcome Marco Knackardi.

Seriously what a shambles club we have become. How can a club do everyting wrong time after time? Lessons learned, yeah right !! It's beyond believe, how this club is able to mess things up and annoy fans to the bone.

The thing that is hard to fathom is that when the vogue was to play the youngsters he was actually performing very competently. He was then cast aside without explanation and now has had no match time as a consequence.

i don't think anyone will buy the ones we want shot off so we are now having to ship out the ones we would like to keep....its a clusterfcuk down there.
although it's the usual everything is wrong with QPR reaction, have to wonder if he has asked to be loaned out, he seemed pissed off at his lack of football during that interview on qpr player the other day
I don't know what all the fuss is about. He's 23 bloody years old. Not one of our clueless managers has picked him including Warnock. He's decent but has nothing special bout him. I read last season that he had an issue with fitness ( perfect for our club !! ). He's really going down to his probable level.
The real problemfor me is two fold. Because our first team of over paid Premiership wannabee's are so bad everyone thinks the youth can't be any worse. Sadly our youth set up has been horrible and doesn't provide the quality required for the Championship. Then we have the Ferdinand / Ramsay con job done on Fernandes last season. They had him buying into " youth is our future " . Even threw in young Furlong & Gregor Cox to prove it. So the new ethos was a style of play ( yet to see it ) and yoof. Of course Gregor Cox is non league at best and the others aren't much better. The real reason we haven't seen them this season. It's just a continuing mess. We should have made Warnock director of football ( if we really needed someone ) to help guide a young manager like JFH. Instead with have clueless Sir Les with Ramsay in some kind of guru role. HMS Calamity is till sailing kicking and screaming into the sunset !!
You aren't, that's the issue. He's a B player with a D name so we'll pick a C player with an A name instead.

The fuss is because the bloke is clearly a capable player now. Perhaps not a year ago for the Prem or two years ago at 21, as many players aren't, but at 23 now he has not looked at all out of place when given a chance. Meanwhile we persist with Henry, ten years older and crap, Toszer, 30ish and painful to watch at times and Sandro who is only fit once a fking month.
Even if Doughty (and Luongo and Gladwin and Harriman and Furlong) were marginally worse than the 30+ brigade they should be played. They are mostly at least as good and still get overlooked while these useless cnts play like useless cnts

Do we really need a Director of Football?

The under 21's have picked up a bit and are 4th but have had some terrible results. Petrasso looks they only one with a bit of class but he looks a bit lightweight. A real training complex is a priority. The 8 million we wasted on Sandro would have paid for it !!

Yes, we need a Director of Football. He is a key part of multi-skilled team balanced to bring more rigorous decision-making and stability to the club. It is his position that stops Fernandes from being the final arbiter of football knowledge. If we'd had a DoF and not just the ineffectual Beard interceding between Fernandes and Redknapp and Hughes, maybe we wouldn't have wasted so much money and opportunities.
You may think him a bullshitter, but he is still an employee of the owners, not the fans, and necessarily has to be circumspect in his comments. I believe him to be taking his responsibilities to the club very seriously and, despite his historical inexperience, think him a suitable man for the job. Nor has this season been a stationary target. We have gone from being front-runners with a fall-back position of consolidation, to having promotion being very important, to what is now shaping up to be a relegation battle with FFP being a very serious flank threat.
Right now we've got bigger fish to fry than just 'playing the youngsters'. I'm going to get behind the club as it tries to sort it's mess out.

Hasselbaink made it pretty clear the squad is far too big and wants to trim it so that will mean players being sold or loaned out. Still probably best to blame that on Ferdinand and i hear he put the season ticket prices up as well

Yes I am pleased Jimmy has said he wants a smaller 22 man squad. We are bloated with around 35 players and off field the same mentality exists.
Need to get back to basics - cut out all the waste(rs)

Sir Les is getting the blame because no one wants to blame Hasselbaink and yet you insist that JFH is picking the team. No, I'm not saying he has to go just that so far he's not been very good.
