Josh Lillis - Best Ever Performance for Dale? 20:45 - Feb 27 with 4234 viewsfinberty

We could have been 4-0 down by half time if it hadn't been for Lillis.
Was this his best performance in a Dale shirt? Unbeatable. Commanding. Good distribution.

Outstanding - and a worthy MoM.

I liked the one at gigg lane in our promotion season, finished 0-0.The last minute save was unbelievable.

He had a great game at Bradford last week. Good to see his confidence is back.

Totally agree, great game at Bradford, even greater game today.

He has been a scapegoat for periods this season for not being Conrad Logan and does have his weaknesses (don't we all) but his shot stopping ability has been there for all of us to see in these two games.

Not knocking knockers in anyway, simply happy for the lad.

Superb performance from Josh. Confidence comes back when you play behind two proper centre backs.

Immense performance today from Josh. Cap doffed.

Sincerely hope irreparable damage wasn't done by Hilly's decision to drop him in favour of Pereira (?) when he was playing well. The fella's proven himself enough at this level.

A twist of fate! - his gaffe against Sheffield United last season cost him his place to Jamie Jones on loan.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

He's had a couple of great matches at Gigg Lane. I'm glad he's back on form because he's a good goalie.

Bury away or Bristol Rovers away in the promotion season 2014.

That game at Bristol Rovers was unbelievably important to our season (after a bit of a goal drought) and if Lillis hadn't been top drawer like he was, the end of our season could've been very different.
