Article is a smokescreen. He was shagging another player's wife - it was well known in Derby at the time. That is why he was sacked.

Some "just backs " from their forums while he was there would be interesting ..

Well, it sounds like he would build from the back and the style of football sounds very JFH. If it is Clement then lets hope the usual suspects will give him longer than 4 months before moaning about the style of play and not beating every team around us in the league.

Can we please stick with a manager for at least 2 years regardless of results.

Christ alive that's genuinely pretty spooky. That could quite conceivably be a copy and paste effort from any one of the 'just back' threads appearing here these last 6 months or so.

Extremely scary, all of a sudden Dim Tim looks a good shot, I think he may have blown it with his jumped up attitude the last time.

Whoever gets the gig I don't expect much to change. We'll still finish mid table. After all's said and done there wasn't a lot of difference results wise between Ramsey and Hasselbaink.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

if style of play is the reason we sacked JFH then I could easily see us going for Karl Robinson

I take it there's no chance our club could have the imagination and knowledge to find a manager outside of this limited group?

Hmmmm, not sure Messers Stock, Jago and Sexton had much history before they arrived.

Alec Stock was an ex QPR player and managed for 13 years before joining Rangers.

Apologies - poor research there, my Dad wouldn't have been happy with me for that!

However Jago and Sexton, who between them produced our greatest ever team, certainly came unencumbered with any QPR previous!

Didn't he start badly for Derby and then they got into gear and climbed the league? I'm sure I remember they went unbeaten for a load of games or lost 1 in 20...something like that.

I think that was Brian Clough back in the 70s.

He must have , they were 5th when he went .
Employing him when his whole way of playing is the same as JFH is a risky business though IMO.

Heard he'd just started following Tony Fernandes on Twitter so thought I'd have a look and see who else rangers related he is following. Out of 267 answer is none!
Though he does follow Donald trump and Victoria beckham!

I have avidly been reading all the Clement posts on this thread and all the new manager posts elsewhere on LFW and for once I'm minded, moved and persuaded from my original position.Nuts to Mark Warburton - keep effing up the Hun- and come on down Paul Clement!

I will duly change my vote in Brian's poll.
Now if only Hillary should get so much of the popular vote (54% landslide)
and the septics stand back from the brink.

If The Evening Standard is right and Timmy Violet Elizabeth it is,
I just don't know what I'll do.
Maybe I'll scweam and scweam and scweam till I'm sick.

Sherwood do far koff!
