Bet they do.
Are all these people the same ones who wouldn't buy a season ticket as a protest at the start of the season?

If there are 668 season ticket holders who want a ticket, they should get them. The priority period is there for them because everyone knows it's one of the benefits of getting a season ticket in the summer.

I wouldn't buy one as at the price they set it wasn't cost effective,is that a protest?

I'll do the same next season too and unless they dramatically reduce them I'll pick and choose like many others the games I attend...

Can't agree with that with the way the team are playing and the importance of keeping the momentum going. Really looking forward to these crimbo games now.

Which is why we should all respect those who did splash out and allow them to get their tickets. No season ticket holder should miss out.

Our home form is fantastic at the moment and that to me makes every game appealing for us Rochdale fans, we're pretty fortunate to have these two home games coming up during the Christmas week.

Ditto re:the christmas games, we could instead be unlucky bury and have a team losing week after week with two tough away fixtures.

From memory, under Hill we have often been awesome at home on boxing day, the Shrews game in 2010 obviously sticking out.

I reckon Barrow will sell out or be close to selling out, they're on a remarkable run, confidence high and rightly think they have a decent chance of winning.

It's come to something when, occupying a play-off spot, playing arguably the most attractive football we've ever seen at Spotland, and with the lure of traditional Xmas/NY fresh air to clear the lungs and whet the appetite for leftover turkey, our games are seen as 'unappealing' - whatever the opposition in L1

Don't get me wrong - i'm not denying you the right to take that view nb, i'm just saying it's come to summat!

While totally appreciating why many fans didn't buy a ST after the debacle surrounding their launch at the end of last season, surely anyone who can pay to go each week and is able to attend is still doing so?

Which Shrews game? The 4-0 win in 2009? That was 19th December.

We didn't play on Boxing Day 2010. Notts County away was postponed.

We played Shrewsbury on Boxing Day 2008, coming back from Grant Holt's finer effort to win 2-1 thanks to two Evil goals.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

You're very true DA in some respects,it's just games against Shrewsbury and Chesterfield are about as mouth watering as eating a dry cream cracker...

If the opposition is/was irrelevant we'd have many more fans for the games including the checkatrade matches etc too,the fact is there's nothing remotely intriguing about playing two sides with no rivalry with us whatsoever who we've played recently countless times,in my opinion...

Which is fair enough, each to their own. And another reason why those who choose to get a ST for all these games shouldn't miss out on a Barrow ticket. Pay your money, take your choice.

At the top of my head, there's not been many dull games against Shrewsbury at home in recent years. Always seems to carry a story, and I prefer them as opponents to over half the teams in our division. It's just a proper Rochdale fixture, and they're always a good measure to compare ourselves with.

Apologies, 2008 and 2009 mixed up with each other and the wrong year.

Not bad effort
