I was saying to my mate at the game, the decision to not send their number 16 Ben Barclay off is up there as one of the worst, if not THE worst decisions I've seen at a live football match.
The 2nd foul was dreadful, right through the back of Rathbone. The ref completely bottled it.
On a side note, Jimmy Ryan was excellent again today. He seems to be growing with confidence every match now, great to see.
Thought the defence played well, but no outball due to lack of movement, and Sanchez’s atrocious distribution. The ref was good apart from bottling the sending off. We seemed to grow in confidence as the game went on. A good win
I watched a different game to you if you thought the ref was "good", he was fooking atrocious first half and could easily have cost us the game with his bottle job decision making, the persistent fouls off the ball on O'Connell and the not even disguised head locks from literally every single set piece into their area was special.
Interesting that BBM went with both Baah and then Tavares before Pyke today! Andrew was also preferred to Alby but I'm guessing that was more to do with defensive duties.
Pike doesn't hold a candle to Baah on today's showing. And it's been said but he's going to be some player for the future. Every player did great today and I felt we were in control of the game. A vast improvement on the Gillingham game. Well done to the team today.
' I started out with nothing and i still got most of it left'
Very nice to see a player willing to run at their full back,it wont always come off but well done Baah on a top performance for someone so young, quality and great energy to keep showing for the ball too... keep it up
O’Connell, McShane and Ryan were superb today. A solid triangle that held and stopped everything. Ryan looks much fitter too and can see a game through although he went missing halfway through the second half to get his second wind. Baah could be a revelation. His twisting and turning while running at defenders leaves them in his wake. Camps better up front alongside Hendo. All in all a very good day. BBM take a bow.
Superb performance cannot understand this team Baah for me is a real prospect....well done Dale everyone put a shift in 100% ... let’s carry this on now.
Add to that no RND. Only bummer another late goal. Can’t attribute it to tiredness though as all our players still seemed to have a lot of running in them.
The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

And breathe. The win eases the pressures in a number of ways. It also helps the atmosphere for the Newcastle game. I always said this squad was good enough to stay up, and provided the transfer window is not to disruptive I think it will prove it. Great that McShane and Hendo both started and others are making their way back into the squad. Glad Ryan is getting some praise. Some on here described him as on of the worst ever in the shirt, Really. A Blackpool player of the season 2 years ago was always going to offer something. But some will never like him as once they have that first opinion, they won’t change it. Bring on the Toon, UTD
Camps has been leaving for the last 3 years and morley is injured! Loads of shite on social media.
Camps is on a free in 6m and will probably want 3k a week to stay here on a 3 year deal. Maybe he is worth that, I honestly don’t know.
Morley will be being watched as will Luke, again not idea if they will go but we are more in control regarding them.
Hendo is a strange one, he wants the record and knows as a free agent in summer he is able to ask what he wants, or maybe he is happy to see his career out here.
Personally I think camps will go undisclosed, maybe josh if Scunthorpe/Lincoln/Grimsby local club come in for him on a free and he is ok. I hope Pyke is sent back, Andrew if we can offload can go.
As for new signings - I would try for pitman on loan, I would look at what barrow are doing, but they will want major money for either striker, maybe have a chat to Burnley rovers and other big local clubs. Can’t see any major signings other than loans!
