In sorry but to ban someone for using a recreational drug that has no effects on the sporting field is beyond a joke. I'd be pissed off the player butn3months ban is a joke. We all they sniff there head off in the close seasonal. Let them be. This goes across all sports, people have lost years of their professional career over a drug the police couldn't care less about all in the name of WADA who make it up as they go along. |
I agree. Never used the stuff myself and fully realise the way in which lives are affected by it plus the criminality involved in its supply (that's another matter), but if individuals choose to put unhealthy substances into their body that imo should be entirely their own business
I'd say his biggest mistake was in getting caught, but it seems he's had 'issues' for some time. I guess it goes back to the 'role model' idea that footballers are mistakenly held up as. He needs help, not punishment
