Sounded like we'd had the best of the first few minutes too.

we did. Clumsy challenge by EOC for the free kick ( lucky not to get a yellow). Great free kick, curled with pace over the wall and in. No chance for the keeper

Would have been nice to see one of the wall even attempt to jump.

Ties in with a view from the Mem: 'Silly free kick to give away. Well taken…but not sure what the wall was doing.'

"Clumsy" is being very kind.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

They’ve got their tails up here. Saved by Dorsett again there.

They have been well on top since the goal. Looking most likely to get the next one. Be happy to get in 1-0 down & regroup

I’m worried. We are consistently failing at the basics.
- We seem to get dragged out of position constantly,
- Struggle to find our forwards with passes to feet, more often than not it’s a hopeful punt in their direction.
- Our midfield all seem to be doing the same thing and have no guile whatsoever.
- Our keeper seems to have no control of his area.
- Our build up play is slow and predictable.
- The amount of times we give away possession with over hit passes or lack of direction is insane.
- We never clear our lines. Somehow our clearances appear to put us in further trouble rather than just hammering it and resetting ourselves.

People are in hope that January will be our saviour but realistically, what will come of it? We are picking from the poorly paid dregs and kids who more often than not are not ready. I’d take 18th this season at this rate, but certainly got a weird deep gut feeling we are getting sucked into the mire and the reasons why are borderline identical to our BBM reasons.

Dorsett isn't a footballer. Send him back.

Who are YOU with?

1-0 down at HT. 5 good minutes and then completely outplayed for 40 minutes. Lucky it's only one. We just look completely flat and powderpuff from front to back. No efforts on target & the midfield anonymous. Dorsett after a few good games is all over the place with his passing. No-one really having a good game and no link up play. As poor a half as we have had for some time

"The lightweight Beesley" is the phrase being used by the radio Bristol commentators. Their summariser says our support play is 'woeful'.

Pretty accurate for this match, so far at an rate.

25 yarder that flew into the net with no chance for the keeper. Great strike, but it came by us losing the ball in defence. Their 3rd or 4th shot on target in just 7 minutes of this half. One of those caused by a bad pass from Morley

We are getting hammered

All very predictable, after a short turn-around time from the Wednesday trip to Hartlepool following upon the cup defeat

At least we have a week off after today

Poll: What are you planning to do v Newport

White & Morley off, Andrews & Dooley off. Just after our best chance where Big Jim somehow managed to put it against the keeper from 2 yards out with a free header. At least we have a shot on target now
