Salford City (H) Match Thread on 09:58 - Mar 16 by rod_leach
He looked injured to me. The ref stopped the attack, not him. Also I've absolutely no problem with ex players celebrating a goal. I know I would given the chance. It's only a game!
Perhaps I am mistaken but didn't the Salford players have the chance to kick the ball out before the ref blew up ?

Is the pitch in the condition we should expect considering the amount of money puportedly spent on it preseason?
Should Stockdale have known when he signed how the pitch would deteriorate. Yes it had done in the past, but the pitch drainage had been improved to cope with the Rochdale Rain.

His airplane goal celebration while sticking his tongue out in front of the Sandy, followed by ruining probably our 2nd best attack of the 2nd half by sitting on the floor ‘injured’ was probably enough to rile a few people up.
I didn’t boo but even I was a bit frustrated with his antics, but that’s what a player like Lund does and we’re missing that at the moment.
So what was the excuse for people to abuse him in the fixture at Salford when he didn't score, didn't celebrate and didn't get injured?
