Jamie Paterson deal to Coventry is agreed ? Let’s hope so on 17:56 - Jan 14 by Whiterockin
They are just bad, it's no good blaming Martin they have history with other managers. Get them out the sooner the better.
We should use every penny of that begging Manning to stay, he is top quality and as is usual with Swansea City we let the best players go, he will be a huge asset to anywhere luckily enough to get him, even now when he no doubt has his mind set on leaving he gives everything, i don't think i have ever been so gutted to see a player leave than this guy

He is asking for too much, one could say he is playing for a move. Stick to our guns and see where we are when the window closes.

I agree with trying our best to keep him , but only within the constraints of what the Club can afford, even though you can't fault his attitude and commitment to the cause if we did cave in then that's only going to create bigger problems down the line .

Which is the issue.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Agree completely i just think we should make extra effort for Manning, no idea about him wanting to go and if that is true then not a lot we can do, but if that is the case i have even more respect for his professionalism, he gives everything for this club

Spoke to a very good contact tonight now unless he is on a wind up and he rarely is. Coventry have as of this afternoon no interest in him.
Whatsoever.
Can you blame them, club need him gone pay him off and cut their losses, surely they don't want him near the 1st team squad same as Obafemi, even if they start to tow the line and say lesson learnt, won't be long before they are back to their silly tears and tantrums again?

Jamie Paterson, forward, Swansea This is a classic case of everyone putting two and two together and getting five, and it’s easy to see why. The Coventry-born, self-confessed Sky Blues fan has always had a knack of scoring against his hometown club and has been greatly admired by Mark Robins in the past, the manager having tried to sign him twice — once while at Huddersfield and, more recently, two summers ago when he switched from Bristol City to South Wales. The 31-year-old was in brilliant form last season when he provided nine assists and nine goals for the Swans but has this season fallen out of favour with boss Russell Martin, so much so he has been left out of the last four matchday squads. Martin has made no secret of the fact that there’s been interest in the lively forward and is clearly prepared to let him go this January. Reports from Wales claim Coventry are interested.
Verdict: While he’s just the type of player Robins is looking for and everything would appear to fit, CoventryLive understands the Sky Blues are not currently pursuing an interest in the player.

As Keith can confirm no doubt, Pato and Oba both were dropped for being late, both reacted badly to it. Them being dropped wasn’t directly linked to them leaving this month.
Although Pato didn’t play a full part in training this week, but I hear he’s “back in the fold”, for now. Neither are happy campers though.

But CoventryLive has all but shut down that rumour, with Andy Turner saying that ‘the Sky Blues are not currently pursuing an interest in’ the Swansea City man.

The pair are rarely happy campers, this is probably the reason we're having difficulties moving them on. Clubs do due diligence and they both have a history of petulance and tantrums.
