Watson on 18:29 - Oct 8 with 4530 views | majorraglan | Makes you think what on earth is going on. What’s the reason for his departure, if he’s not up to it then why was he appointed in the first place and who made the decision to appoint him? If it’s for another reason then let’s hear more. He’s been brought in to do a job and is out the door in less than 18 months later. There needs to be some continuity. The below is from Walesonline. “Speaking of his maiden transfer window at Swansea at a fans forum in March, Watson said: "There were no scouts (at the club), no processes, no nothing. "There wasn't a single person in the building, so the recruitment over the past few years, prior to us coming in, was almost on a whim. That couldn't last." Doesn’t inspire confidence. Thing is, it makes you wonder if Coleman has got his foot holding the door open for a hop, step and a jump as well!

He brought in some very good players and some not so good players. This has echoes of the Marc Allen departure after Finlay Burns Rhys Williams did not cut the mustard. WoL is going a on about the time Nathan Jones sat next to him at a scouting trip. It was raised by a berk from the Alliance and said more about him than Watson. Watson needlessly apologised to the fans and he looked weak imo Williams is asking for extra players and this will not have go down well. Williams needs to use what he has and make it is work. He has given Joey Allen his blessing to join Wales. After he gets clocked Reach will have a slot. . [Post edited 8 Oct 18:49]

Mark Allen's biggest cock up was the last minute signing of Nathaniel Ogbeta!!

Watson on 19:04 - Oct 8 with 4172 views | theloneranger | "Swansea City announces today that sporting director Paul Watson has left the club after nearly a year and a half in the role. Chairman Andy Coleman said: “I would like to extend our thanks to Paul for his work during his time with us. We wish him every success for the future.” 😂 The club will update in due course regarding recruitment plans for the position. In the meantime, Paul’s responsibilities will be handled by the existing football department staff." Maybe it's not for work related issues?? 🤔

Was he that bad? He hardly ever played for Swansea and did alright for Bolton in league 1. He has featured in three games for Plymouth in the Championship. Known to have pace. Rooney rates him and knows how to handle Whitaker another Swnsea reject. A £10m+ valued player who can score who did not cut it at Swansea. Something is not right. Is this another young player thrown in the dustbin by an egotistical manager instead of being developed.? Ntcham added class and Swnsea got a good fee for him and a World cup fee as well.

Watson on 19:38 - Oct 8 with 3894 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The manager has gone to Coleman and told him he needs non contract players. It was the managements recruitment team's job to build a squad good to go. The manager has encouraged Joe Allen to play for Wales and has Adam Reach in to cover to keep Craig Bellamy happy. This is not joined up thinking and certainly does not reduce the bills.

Why do you keep banging on about things you quite obviously haven't a clue about it. You have a scatter gun approach, perhaps one day you might it the target

I am speculating and have no access to security cameras at the club nor do I have 'moles' with in the club. You are doing a "fact check" and can argue that my speculation is not based on hard evidence. You are right congratulations. However Williams stated in his presser that the "club" were looking at the non contracted players and Williams talks to Coleman on a regular basis. They looked pretty friendly in the forum and have notified fans on another Q and A together (excluding Watson) . I do not know the date location or time kindly for your information but the discussion must have happened.
