Can anybody give an insight as to where all the speculation leaves Paul Trollop and Adam Lallana?
Any managerial appointment from outside the club will I imagine, bring his own team with him and I can’t see Sports Republic paying the salaries of a new manager and his team plus Trollop, Lallana and Eckert.
Unfortunately, I won’t be at all surprised if we simply end up with Eckert replacing Still. |  |

Until he's had 6 or more games in charge you can't really judge him and therefore he can't be considered for the job. He has no experience as a Manager at this level, so judging him on 2 games is quite laughable.
I'd much rather go for experience as we need someone in place after the international break, in order that they can assess their squad and make good in the January transfer window. |  |

I wondered about Viera but he got sacked from Genoa, after winning zero games from 12 games I believe. He did an ok job at Palace but was sacked when he again went on a run of no wins in 15. Not convinced by him. | |

Brendan Rodgers is 3rd favourite and his odds have shortened a lot over the last few days. Promoted out of the championship with Swansea, did well in the PL with Swansea, then did well at Liverpool. Lots of opinions on him, I doubt he would come, but he would be a real statement of intent. | |
