Canada are ranked 27th we are 32nd there's nothing much in it. Yes they are at home but we will be tournament sharp if we get there. They have only been playing friendlies as they did not need to qualify. If we get there we can get out of the group.

Out of the African teams I think Morocco 🇲🇦 are the best placed to cause an upset again. Finishing 4th was the best ever performance of any African side ever.

If we do get there, I think I’d rather Canada, Switzerland and Qatar to Croatia, Ghana and Panama.
Remarkable given they were pot 1 and we were pot 4. We should have had an immeasurably harder group. Italy will be licking their lips too.

This is exactly my point.
As people, they are great. As spotting institutions, they are local rivals, regardless of them being bigger and better than us.
English sporting fans by the way, often are arrogant and entitled. Those very same people are invariably sound in day to day life.
