I've fortunately managed to lose about six/seven kilos in the last five months mainly through intermittent fasting, reducing carbs and generally eating a bit less. Thankfully I didn't find it too hard but clearly I assume these people want results quicker and resort to the drugs instead? |  |

I don't see how resorting to drugs is a good solution, unless they also make permanent changes to their lifestyle and food intake.
Since May I've managed to drop 40lbs, 20% of my bodyweight (200lbs down to 160lbs), and nine inches off my waist (I'm now 15% bodyfat), simply by dropping my daily calories from 3000 per day to 2500 (and tracking my food on the MacroFactor app - best £50 investment I've ever made). |  |
