Soon ,it will be upon us so how do we feel
Are we justified to be overwhelming favourites for a third wooden spoon
Being a negative naysaying kind of guy ,I foresee us ending with a record minus points difference and being thrashed by fecord scores by each nation.
First off ,Twickers ,with a baying cocksure crowd urging on the likes of Henry Pollock ,who will be grinning from ear to ear
Its a horrific prospect and then France.
We do have some hope there as French lads might sample too many delights of our capital and Monsieur Dupont gets salmonella from a Clarkes pie. If not,God knows what he will do.
We are so bad thast other nations want us to do well,as they feel a weak Wales is bad for the game .And it is .
Problem is ,we are lost at sea squabbling with each other and with a WRU unfit for purpose but with the brass neck to try to see it out. They wont .
I know many hate the game but surely this is national humiliation and we all want a Wales team to win,Don't we.
On a personal note ,this March ,I moved up here fifty years ago. On that day ,we thrashed Ireland by 30 points and scored tries that are still talked about .
We had a scrum,line out and had players with cunning and skill and a kicker to boot.

While stopping by I don't understand why Wales Rugby has fallen short of standard in recent years. Even as a non-Brit I'd automatically propose the Welsh team having the most prestige and heritage over all other UK nations, the most likely to succeed but it seems rotten for years and you're just missing out ? It's a shame as you could recall different.
How do you get back to once previous status, re-establish yourselves once more etc. Can it be done, is it achievable with enough time. I wish you well really, Wales at one time seemed or were the most prominent of all British Isle nations for Rugby contest. |
First and foremost they need to get rid of the current WRU and instal a group who understand rugby from the ground up and what it means culturally to Welsh people. This current crop are managing by balance sheet which is not practical in the short or long term. |  |

1OO%, not sure what Williams did wrong to get a Yellow missed it though to be honest, Mrs has hurt her back, so I've sorting what's needed.
Need another option to Williams for me his kicking is woeful and he seems to just kick for the sake of it with little idea of where the ball is going, it seems to me that he doesn't trust the 10,12 or 13 outside him, with his experience he should be schooling them and bringing them into the game.
Fair play to Tandy he's growing into the role, he's a great lad is Steve, not seen or spoke to him for years now, but he's on the right road to getting Wales back, lots of talent in this squad, just needs that piece of luck to help them along. | | | |

Another game lost in last ten minutes through lack of discipline and composure
Carre try outstanding but imagine what he could do if he shed two stone , his conditioning is poor
Positives.. We have centres now who can cause damage
Set pieces are much better but they couldn’t have been worse
Alex Mann has grown rapidly as has Botham
We have a back row
Ben Carter is up to it so we have a pair of locks

Williams; kicking wasn’t good I agree but I don’t like this kicking away possession. That said, last night it was needed just to give the defence some relief because every time Ireland got into the 25 they were threatening to score.

Completely agree about Tandy.
A good part of the early drubbings were down to individual mistakes that were an acceptable for international players and nothing to do with the international team coach.

Those two kicks on halfway, provided Ireland with the base to score two tries, Williams kicks aimlessly 9 times out of 10, he generally kicks for kicking's sake, I've watched him on tele playing for Gloucester and he's been excellent, maybe because he has confidence in that players he plays with.
That said I'm not sure if it was him who kick those two ball straight up in the air which led to Ireland scoring, might have been Dan who did have a decent game in fairness. | | | |

Amazing game of Rugby. Scotland have got some wonderful backs but their forwards were also on the front foot. Hopefully they've lost their flakiness.
