I must confess that I didn’t see the board go up and I normally specifically look out for that.

Yeah tactically McNulty out-thought Maynard today, to the point they had to completely change how they set up to see out the game. Don’t get me wrong, still thought York had the better of the second half but they were obviously concerned about how direct we were going - too direct at times, but it would have been justified had Mani’s goal been the winner.
It wasn’t though. The chaotic scenes created further chaotic scenes and the rest will go down as one the most unique games in football history, let alone Dale’s.
That’s no consolation now, and while I don’t think we’re cursed or anything like that, I can appreciate how people feel at a time like this. |

Yes we are....in 117 years of footy we have only won twice on April 25! And both were a long time ago. I dont know of any other date in the regular season that has been so bad for us. OK we dont play every season on April 25...but we have played plenty of times in that 117 years.
