It will depend if the referee decides to report it and then if the FA think it deserves a suspension. Same with Hannant for Dale. |  |

If he had done that in the street he would have been arrested....why is a football pitch any different? Its a deliberate assault by any measure, the ball had gone well before the event...It had the potential to be career-ending. There is no plausible excuse for it and Fondop needs banning sine dei pending psychiatric reports.....And I would say the same thing if it had been one of our players who did something similar...Totally unacceptable...needless to say the FA will bottle it. | | | |

Calvin gave an explanation of what happened at a curry night a couple of seasons ago.
Apparently, Calvin had warned Peter Clarke about his bullying of certain players, especially Callum Camps, and when he went one step too far, Calvin decided enough was enough. |  |
