It's Sky Sports that have released it, not us. I'm not sure how much influence the club would have over when this was released, even if they had a motive to.

It was filmed in pre-season and shown on Sky's EFL programme on Monday.
I imagine they did lots of other random features with all 72 clubs over the summer for their 'random features' library.
It probably is just a coincidence they used it this week.

If that vid was sometime ago, he must be match ready by now? Sooooooner the better.
As already established, it was filmed in pre-season and therefore before his injury, which occurred in the final friendly versus Halifax (the game in which Will Jenkins was also injured, and he's in the background during the penalties, so clearly not yet injured!)
We played Tranmere four days later.
