Lads, it's pretty rare for me to find YouTube videos about Swansea City that are in Spanish or at least have subtitles, so I wanted to share this one I came across about the stadium. Hopefully you guys can add a bit more to this experience and share your own takes! Cheers everyone!

AI crap to be honest.

We never expanded at the time because ownership was too cautious. We had huge opportunities to grow the club but failed to do so because our commercial department was run by a guy who sold crisps from vending machines.

Now, until we get promoted again and sell out consistently for three or four seasons then there's not much point in expanding the place. Costs would far outweigh income.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Agreed, we are top and we still cant fill the ground.

Alot of commercial work needs to be done.

25,000 would be ample to cover every eventuality.

Big enough to accommodate most people who would want to watch us on any future return to the Prem, small enough to not become a millstone around our necks if we weren't in it.

The South Wales sporting public is far too fickle (and in fairness, short of cash) to justify anything bigger.

You don’t have to travel very far for evidence of a club that built a stadium too big for their fanbase and is now regularly a third empty in the championship.

I would think we’d need to establish ourselves in the PL before expansion became a realistic option. We missed our chance under the previous owners.

The lounges sell out for just about every game. The Alan Curtis lounge is always sold out. That is what we need, more lounges not more Alan Curtises! We can sell tickets at £200 in the lounges but not £5 on the terraces. One of life's great conundrums.

Business networking.

When i said commercial, I mixed up the word, i meant getting out into the community as thats where the proper supporter are, not in offices, business people treating customers to a lavish meal, drinks and watching 2 football teams go at each other from a lounge.

How many actually dip into their own pockets to pay £200, instead of tax deductible hospitality paid for by a business.

I think for a club of our size and where we are out the 4 leagues we are in the perfect sized nice compact ground, like its been said look at other grounds not too far away where 1,000's of seats are empty week on week. As for the lounges good but value for money meh!

Better for the club that they're sold regardless of who pays.

17,677 for a Saturday match when we are top of the Championship with no fixtures for the last 3 weeks. This is where we are and anyone thinking we need to extend to over 30,000 needs to think long and hard.

In fairness a chunk of the empty seats were in the away end.

The last time we got promoted crowds didn't rise above about 15-16,000 until towards the end of the season. We're probably ahead of that as things stand.

Yes but iirc we were never top at any point during that season.

Well, the issue is the timing, and all the other things that hit a city with deprived areas and has been mentioned child poverty at a high rate. We also have had and still do a very large supporters base outside of Wales. That will stop many hundreds attending because of the time. Then there’s what is looking like a big turn out in London on Tuesday night. Cost implications all round.

It’s not an excuse but just being realistic. If this form continues then fans will find tickets harder to come by. West Ham now sold out if they don’t open other areas of the ground.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

So if there was an extension to the ground do you agree with me that 30,000 would be large enough or do you think differently.
