Even though those covers aren't spectacularly good, they've been used to decent effect in previous years when similar weather has arrived.

Snow on top of covers = Still no chance! Its been that cold there's ice on my back lawn - not just snow. The covers at spotland only work down to -4 weve been told in the past and its been -6 or worse some nights. Without undersoil heating there's not much the club can do. Weather forecast is even worse for friday. It will be called off tomorrow so we dont have to pay for notts hotel/travel costs. |  |

Apart from MK Dons (who don't really count as a proper team) Notts are traditionally the worst supported team at Dale for some reason. Compared to their home gates, the % they bring to San Spotty is v poor. |  | | |
