Aaron might not want to leave? None of us have the insight into our players mindsets. Luke appears to be a generational talent, which may seem quite early to say but he’s only signed his first team contract this season and has been snapped up by a Europa League/potential top 4 side.
Aaron is fantastic, but he’s not on the same level of potential. He might have the mindset of finding himself in the mans game rather than going to Preston or the likes and playing u23s football.

Under Hill we used to have this policy of selling players when they had played 100 games or so and were proven footballers.
Allen was a classic example along with Cannon.
I think Morley will be the next player to leave for a fee, perhaps in 12 months?

My opinion on Aaron is a little different than some. I actually feel he has the potential to be the biggest saleable asset now in the squad.
Only turning 20 this month, regarded by many at the club in interviews etc as the most technically gifted. He's physically matured in the last year or two and this season has added goals to his game, good ones at that. Has a good eye and ability to pick a pass and will benefit greatly from being around the likes of Ryan and Lund in becoming a more complete midfielder.
Much more to come from him and from what I've seen his temperament and attitude can't be questioned.

Aaron has been on the bench the past couple of games. I think he needs some game time now until the end of the season and I believe he can only get better with reinvigorated Ryan and Lund alongside him.
