From Arsenals website 'A powerful and creative left back, Tolaji proved his worth at under-23 level in the 2017/18 season, featuring 16 times in the Premier League 2, recording four assists.
An England youth international, he also made seven appearances for his country at under-18 level last term.
The Hale End graduate offers great versatility to Freddie Ljungberg’s side as he is also comfortable playing as a central defender'
There's a fan report on him on YouTube describing him as a no nonsense defender centre half or left back. Not the most technical but defends well. Mentions he probably won't make it for Arsenal but should be able to make a career out of the game. Maybe it could be a loan with a view to a permanent deal?
Just glad to see us get a Left Back in. I wonder where he was on the priority list for BBM.
The only possibility I can think of is Ashley Probets but I can't remember if he was on loan or a signing.

I believe we signed him. This deal has to be better. As I remember the Probert contract was terminated by mutual consent after a few months. Given our recent success with young loanees I am very hopeful this will be a good signing. He does not need to be the next RND, just steady and dependable and able to adjust to senior football will do. Noted he is spoken of for his defensive abilities. I know I”m old fashioned but I like a fullback who can defend. The comment about not being so technically gifted I would take with a pinch of salt. He would not still be with Arsenal if that were the case. Fully expect him to be at least in the match day squad on Saturday. Good luck lad.
Well done the club for acting quickly to bring in an extra body. We sure needed one.
Really pleased with this signing and all major gaps in the squad appear to have been filled. Getting a few more bodies in for depth before the window closes would be ideal. Hopefully a midfielder and a wide player.

Yeah I'd like a more experienced pacey forward who can play wide and centrally. A utility type player would be useful in such a small squad maybe a Keohane but with more physicality.
Also depending on what happens with Rathbone we may need a replacement.
Pleased with this loan signing, but hope it doesn't mean Matty Done reverts to his previous role up front
I'd like to see Beesley, Newby & Humphrys (when fit) given the chance to forge partnerships for the future with their youthful energy. Done would add strength and versatility to our bench, bearing in mind the youngsters sometime run out of steam late on in games and Bola won't transition to L1 football immediately or perhaps consistently
I think we've got enough now, with players returning from injury. My only real concern is our young keeper. He needs to know his place isn't automatic and i've still to see Lynch make an obvious error so should be given some game time

Wouldn't be surprised to see Done start at left back this weekend with Bola on the bench. Give him a week to settle in.

I assume there's an expectation that young loanees are given opportunities to play regularly.
Also, though seldom mentioned, at least a proportion of a loaned player's wages are often paid by the 'home' club. As Steve Evans graciously put it a few days ago when loaning a player: ' We wholly recognise the financial support from Coventry City , which is fantastic to see in these times.'

What about Done playing left midfield rather than 'up front'?
'Only happy when you've got it often makes you miss the journey'
It's an option for him to combine on the left with Bola, just as he combined with Dooley at the weekend, and giving him cover
The more options we have, the better
I was thinking Done does get caught offside a fair few times when he is playing in a more forward role. If he is the one delivering the passes to the forward players rather than receiving them there is less chance of him getting caught in the offside trap. I do know it isn't as simple as that though.

Both Dooley and Done had good games against Fleetwood. It would be a bit harsh and possibly counter productive to mess with a winning team. As others have said, there is no need to rush Bola into the team or tinker with it too much at the minute.
The man is clearly different class, he will be straight in the team. Will be able to handle himself in the 3rd tier as well. Big strong guy, maybe the signing of the decade..
