Some stats... 17:48 - Jan 30 with 826 viewsTVOS1907

Today was the NINTH 2-1 result in 37 incarnations of this fixture.

Six of those 2-1 wins belong to Dale, four of them at the Memorial Stadium.

This was Dale's sixth win in 13 visits to the Memorial Stadium in league and cup football.

Rovers have won only three of their 13 home games versus Dale at the Memorial Stadium.

Dale have now won 14 of their 39 league and cup games versus Bristol Rovers.

Today's win was the 1399th achieved by Dale in league football, so one more for a milestone...

The most memorable of those 2-1 incarnations has to be the Easter Monday 2014 fixture that more or less confirmed our promotion and Rovers' exit out of the football league

Good to see them 'born again'

My favourite stat of today: We're the second highest scorers in League One, only one behind the highest, Hull.

However, only Burton and Swindon have conceded more than us. Crazy team.

A "Norman" rang BBC Radio Bolton quoting that first stat.

He was then patronised by the presenter who referred to the second stat, before being cut short.

Meanwhile, Bolton "could have won 4 or 5 nil".
