At the start of the season there was 138 points to play for. Assuming our goal is survival, 55 points should guarantee that. So we can afford to drop 83 points. So far we have dropped 14 points so that's 69 points left that we can afford to drop and still stay up.

I suspect that survival this year, teams will need between 47 to 50 points, so 4 wins and 3 or 4 draws may get us to 47 or 48 points, which may be enough for survival. I admit that we will have to possible 4 wins, but with away games at Crewe, Wimbledon and Fleetwood, which are games that we can possible get wins, we have the chances to get the points, when considering we are better away then at home.
But we need to look to pick up points at home and even the odd win, as well.
The fact our fate is too some extent is in our hands and BBM must put caution to one side and go for the wins, and points that we will need. | | | |
