He does say they’re “good bids”. Better now than at the end of the month.

Bids Accepted on 15:46 - Jan 8 with 8323 views | TomRAFC | I appreciate the transparency, and any reference to a bacon sandwich. The club have already said they'd only accept if their valuation was met, and Stockdale has targets in mind. Hopefully it all comes off for the better.

There’s Andrews and Cashman for now, but Stockdale will have his targets too. Would have expected a possible addition there anyway. Really have enjoyed watching Beesley as a player, even last season and this when he hasn’t been scoring or at his best. If he moves I hope it’s to a club where he gets game time as there’s already a real player there. He doesn’t need to stay at Dale to develop, but he does need to be out on the pitch. If Morley is the other to leave, that will be an easier hole in the squad to fill. Stats indicate his worth to a side, there’s no doubt about that, it’s that you’d never ever really be able to hang your hat on him being vital to the team. That was apparent against Newport.

Bids Accepted on 15:57 - Jan 8 with 8148 views | 1907 | Good to see Stockdale referencing how shocking the Colchester communication has been. There should be regulations around this & punishments if not followed. Hundreds of fans have travelled many additional miles unnecessarily at excessive cost as a result of the shocking communication from Colchester. Who’s CEO there? It’s not a fat, balding moron and ho lies every time he opens his lips by chance? The communication levels are on par.

Have always advocated there should be a structure for this, we’ve been shocking in the past too around communicating games in doubt. That all said, Stockdale alluded to the problem for travelling fans if they had been told, at say 12.30pm there was now a doubt: they could stop for a bacon butty and a drink but then if the game had subsequently been on after that 2.30pm inspection (as it was at Barrow), then they would have missed it had they not carried on travelling. The end result would always have been the same as it’s unlikely any would have turned round half way there, but yes there should be immediate communication of doubts/inspections. Stockdale himself, like some fans, also had those concerns before arriving too it seems!

Fingers crossed this one is nailed on with the north east connection. Hopefully he can come in and make a difference instantly.

Watched a lot of non-league when I lived in the North East. People have been raving about him this season. Hopefully he can make the step up, if we get him.

Darlo mate really rates him and thinks he will only get better with improved fitness/conditioning of full time football

From the local paper in the north east: Each of Charman’s six goals last season were in cup competitions, but in 2021-22 he has been in fine form, scoring in ten of his 15 league appearances.

Bids Accepted on 19:04 - Jan 9 with 4581 views | Brierls | I’d expect the Morley fee to be £200K+ and Beesley £350K+. Beesley will be a serious loss. We need to replace him with two very good forwards! I do wonder if he’ll start for Blackpool in the Championship, I think he’s the sort of player who needs to be playing regularly to get the best out of him.

It's sad to see him go. That being said, the boards commitment to only selling for good fees and reinvesting them in the transfer budget leaves me feeling a lot calmer about sales than I normally would. All the best, Jake.

Agree. It's not like we haven't been here before either. Survival is the first goal, then more recruitment in the summer. If we hit on his replacement first time in this window, then we've had a big result that augurs very well for our future.
