Downing has been a revelation, we all know COK’s ability & I believe Clark will turn out to be a really shrewd signing.
Jury’s out on Campbell & Charman just yet. On paper they could be fantastic signings but as we know some players really struggle to make the step up but I’m hopeful these two won’t be in that bracket.
Hopefully an experienced centre mid today!

9/10 for me. I genuinely can’t remember a better transfer window, winter or summer. For the board to be fighting off cockroaches in the courts and still be able to pull off all these signings is something else.
I said earlier this month that I’ve long been an admirer of Peterborough’s transfer strategy of hoovering up the best non-league talent before selling them on for profit. You have to be bold to follow that strategy and, for all the praise directed at Dunphy’s regime for his financial prudence, I sometimes think we as a club were too ‘safe’ back then.
We’ve just gone and paid fees for two of the most highly sought-after players in non-league. Better yet, they aren’t kids who we won’t see the benefit from for another 4 years, they’re at the age they want to be playing right now. Add to that the experience of Downing and Clark (who both look excellent), and bringing back Corey, I am very impressed.

A good old 9 from me.
Me too. Stockdale will have it in his head what his best lineup will be, but there's real competition for places all over the pitch now, particularly with the likes of Kelly and Keohane to slot back in. Really excited to see what the non league signings will do, as has been pointed out, none of them are raw kids, they're all in their mid 20's and will be desperate to impress.

An 8 from me, because it is difficult to make a judgement yet. The notable thing is that the age of the squad has increased with every recruit. If i’m right no player signed is under the age of 24 /25. RS has often talked about how young the squad is, and has acted to address it. Although most are older than many recent signings you can’t call them journeymen, as several are incentivised to prove they are capable of cutting it at league level. However I do like that the lads from Portsmouth and Fleetwood have experience at a higher level. If Campbell and Charman both net tonight 8 could look mean. UTDNFS
