Didnt JM address this in his radio interview the other day..
Im sure he said that Sam Graham and Danny Lloyd where offered contracts and nothing came of it.
So the club have to move on and look elsewhere...
Danny Lloyd as interests in the EFL and with sounds of it in Lge1...
Sam Graham as been training with the squad..
With what JM says and not being drawn into a direct answer but Danny Lloyd will not becoming back as there as been no contact from him....

Going off his social media posts Danny Lloyd is training hard but it doesn’t seem to be with a particular club, more with fitness specialists.
I wouldn’t hold out too much hope of him coming back though. |  | | |

He's obviously not re signing for us but if Lloyd has really got offers from higher up the pyramid, then why hasn't he taken one and joined pre season with the club ? I was told this by someone who had spoken DL himself in a situation that wasn't in the surroundings of RAFC a few weeks after the season had finished in late May.

Hes clearly on his way somewhere.
Any club taking him on will need to check his fitness levels..we took a punt on him in the first place..and he delivered admirably.
Not sure when Dannys last competitive game was before he came to Dale?
One of the managements better decisions to give him a chance when it appeared there were few other takers.
My view of Llloyd is that he will seek a club where he gets regular games and can lead to an extent as long as his fitness holds up.

Whilst I don't think he'll be heading back to us, I'm amazed he hasn't signed up to someone yet and reckon he could end up lower than we previously expected. Jim confirmed last week that Lloyd's had offers from further up the pyramid. There's loads of reasons why he might not have accepted one yet - he may be waiting on an offer from a specific club nearer to home, or a club may need to offload a player before they can confirm his signing, or he may be training with them to prove his fitness after the injury before they confirm the deal.
It's getting boring now, we clearly can't pay him what he wants (and I'd argue deserves after his performances last season) and he's not going to be playing for us anymore. Time we moved on and focused on the players we do have. |  |

Cheers for that. Didn't listen to it all, just cherry picked bits about the injury, time at Dale and his future. I think that removes any ambiguity.
He was probably my favourite player last year for attitude and effort. When you hear the gory details of the injury and the effort he put out to even play again, let alone to outplay and give more effort than many of our other players last season , it really stands out like a beacon. And puts a lot of our players to absolute shame.
