Yes,the Summer Message is very timely regarding where we are as a Club and more importantly where we are going.....and it looks pretty rosey! Thanks CoChairs for being transparent and keeping us all abreast of what's happening and when...I'm sure many of us didn't know the half of it, particularly those like me an exile who are not always "on site".

That club statement is probably the best thing to come out of the club in my lifetime and possibly since 1907. (the two dates aren't similar by the way!)
The Ogden family seem invested in the town as well as the club. Both matter. My instinct is that a good club helps the town improve. The other way round doesn't feel the same, as folk will look elsewhere for football. |  |

Rumours of a £40 - £50 million asking price for Mane, with half a dozen top clubs interested and apparently Man U and Everton current favourites...a 10% sell on would be wonderful news at Spotland and sometimes these deals for young players have up to 20% built into them....! He's a bit too raw to command a £50m fee. Reckon £20 - 30m is more realistic. If he was 10 - 20 goals, assists and played every game then possibly but its even a stretch at that. | | | |

Great statement that covered an awful lot of ground. One comment that we should all take note of was the financial rules that dictate what an EFL club can spend on a playing budget - rules that didn't apply in the National League. So our owners can't just chuck half a million extra for players from now on unless we grow our revenues in proportion. With that in mind, we need to hope we can sell more than 3,000 season cards, and drive up match day revenues somehow. Otherwise there will be limits on where and when we can strengthen the team. Assuming we spent c£2m on the playing budget last year, we'd need to up our revenues by quite a lot to move on from that this coming season. Wembley revenues would have helped a bit. | | | |
