Thankfully, the club have always been very good about this place. No doubt, it's been called every name under the sun over the years, but I think the only time there's ever been any request from the club was back in 1999 on the morning that Steve Parkin resigned from Mansfield for reasons that had nothing at all to do with us, and they preferred it stay that way for the next fortnight at least.
And when you consider all the fuss that came with this place during the Eyre and Coleman days when we had clear leaks from the dressing room on regular occasions, confidential conversations twisted and aired on here and even the manager feeling the need to register and post. Was bizarre times and it felt like the messageboard had taken on a life of its own.
On other club's boards, the legal action only ever seems to be made as a threat as a way of protecting the truth rather than preventing lies being spread. |  | | |

LOL yeah , bet they gave the Gills their best every attendance in over 30 years, such a massive club with amazing away support LOL , shame their director is a full on Knobjockey. He wants to keep his mouth shut and get on with building his stand to make sure they get all those fans in.....Was he the guy that made up allegations about threats to the club during the evans fiasco , but the police admitted no complaints. | | | |

Bit of a daft comment, with due respect. It transpires that police ARE investigating an arson threat made to a sponsor.

Whatever one thinks of rapist Evans, this is a case where the law has been circumnavigated by intimidation and should be of concern to everybody.
