Surely they’d have to have communicated with both us and Hartlepool to stop selling tickets for the Railway End and to find out how many both teams have already sold?!
From there they’d need to ensure away fans swap any tickets they already hold. Staggering really that Stockport thought they could create this uncertainty without actually providing answers immediately. | |

Some Stockport fans think that because we are going down, we would not sell 1400 tickets, so it is fair, but think it is creating chaos and Dale fans could end up buying tickets in the home end.
It is a local derby game and imagine if we the next two games and have a chance, are they trying to help the team win games by having virtually no away fans at the home games and so intimidate away teams more. |  | | |

I agree, we are both in the fight for safety and we could both visit County needing points, so reducing the away support and even apparently not evening informing or seeking the opinion of both the Dale and Hartlepool is shocking. It is not like the Dale have to travel a great distance, we are less then 20 miles away from Edgeley Park, so it could be chaos on the day in the home end. | | | |

Most clubs have one or two decent ones on Twitter/forums/real life but I’ve never encountered one from Stockport yet. When the inevitable happens, I’ll be at the front of the queue to rub their noses in it. Not that I hold grudges or owt… [Post edited 12 Apr 2023 12:12]

No actual number of seats available to Dale published on the updated OS ticket section now
Looks to me like both clubs (Dale & Hartlepool) have accepted what they've been "told" by Stockport and the EFL, whose interest in ensuring compliance with their own rules is notoriously half-arsed, as we very well know
Edit: Each of those two blocks might just have 540 seats, which combined (and if you include the sectioned-off seats as part of the away 'allocation') gives 1080, or 10% give or take a decimal point
It's a moot point whether the sectioned off part should be a loss of away seating or home seating. For instance, the home club could section off 90% of the away 'allocation' on that basis! [Post edited 12 Apr 2023 12:32]
