Next manager? on 17:09 - Apr 1 by rsonist | Nice of Ollie to give us some small faith in the board by vindicating their decision to move on from him. |
He has every right to , he was treated like Sh1t , he did what he was asked he played the kids The insanity of the board to sack him when he had a year left on his contract and pay him up to then appoint Mclaren on a 2 year contract who has done a worse job who never played any of the youngsters and who hasn’t improved not one single player to then have to pay up Mclaren sums us up as a club The club will never progress under Tony Fernades we will be a laughing stock forever under his leadership , we will do an Ipswich next year
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Ollie should never have been re-appointed. The football we played under him was ugly on the eye and lack of tactical nous considerable. And i got very bored of his rent-a-quote and 'mad eccentric' touchline routine. I sit next to the duggout, and the way he carried on making endless gags to us in the crowd whilst it was going tits up on the pitch was bewildering. He is passionate about QPR no doubt, but so am i and i'd make royally sh*t manager too. So yes we should've got rid him. But we shouldn't have replaced him with Schteve.

If Ollie left any of his old flat caps behind we might be able to lure him.

What did you expect? We're not an inspiring club Its only when you start to look at realistic alternatives that the euphoria of sacking McClaren begins to wear off a touch. Add to that the fact we now have 2 years plus of him and his staff's salaries to add to the budget is the reason I've haven't exactly got the bunting out over this decision. Pep and Klopp together wouldn't make Lynch a decent player for example, yet every time we do this - sack the manager - we expect us to suddenly improve - we won't.

Sooner we appoint him, sooner we can f..k him off, and sooner we can get on to the next appointment without his name in the frame!!

His position was untenable after the recent run and he's lucky he lasted as long as he did.

The most worrying part about this is when he says ‘Les wanted me to stay’. If those airplane and property vvankers are undermining football people then we will always be fcked. No good ever comes from busy owners. Fck the lot of em.

Agree with your first bit. I dont think he should have been employed. Makes you wonder why he was though.?

Next manager? on 23:21 - Apr 1 with 2510 views | numptydumpty | although we all have people we might like and also hope do not come in - I can't say who would do well here and who would be no good at all. tbh if people don't like someone's character ie tim Sherwood - I don't know if he would be any good or has had a go - failed but may come back stronger. I am hoping we go a bit left field perhaps a caretaker manager - that might come good in the way that monsieur solskjear has. I hope the football people at the club have an input above the money men - is there a manager from foreign fields who we have never heard of who could do a job. I would have hoped always that we do have our eyes on potential prospective managers in the same way we try to find the next bargain buy ala luke freeman - Take a punt on a random nobody Whatever happens whoever it is lets hope they play attractive football - know when things are going wrong in a game and make sensible substitutions and have a great deal of man management skills so the entire squad all feel included and all feel like they can learn from the new "gaffer" I have not got a clue - I was only ever good in five a side - but do I have experience in attending loftus road for over 40 years.... My hope is we appoint someone who manages to last more than a season - and can build a decent squad with sell on chances for our top players and a supply line from the youth team. There you have it - that's all pretty simple then Apparently Jamie Redknapp is 33 to 1. OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone ever bet on markets such as this - All I would say is don't back against us winning at Norwich - We are QPR after all !!!!!
