The 'Silent T' Match Thread 08:58 - Feb 1 with 53026 viewsDorse

My record in starting match threads is something akin to falling down an open sewer to avoid walking under a ladder but here goes:

I would expect a result today. Preferably a win but failing that, a draw. However, a loss is also possible,

Haven’t felt this happy after a win in a long while, magic. Shove it Troy Deeney!

Ah come on - have sympathy - he's just lost a cup final.

Watched the game on my phone so couldn’t comment on the thread, excellent performance, stupid foul for the penalty, Thomas looked good in his brief appearance, Willock did well too.
Commentator needs to do his research properly, “ Charlie has 50 goals in 96 appearances which is great at this level” helloooooo 1/4 of them was in the premier league.

have to admit, at 1-0 i did not see that coming. But Willock made a HUGE difference - superb when he came on. And two fantasticaly taken goals.
Thought Dickie and Barbet at the beack were excellent too, have to say. I think Barbet's been a lot better for the last three months, tbh.

Yep that was all Willock for me. Can be some player if we make a man of him.

Dickie the kind of Rolls Royce quality that increasingly hardly needs pointing out, which is exactly what you want from a defender.

Ashamed to say I couldn't watch the last 5 mins at 1-1 so turned it off! Missed Uncle Albert's winner but I'll watch the game again on DAZN ... Get in!!!!!

Kane was superb for us today and Willock excellent when he came on. And I want to have Rob Dickie's babies ...

Well that is a great win, and chances are I'm going to regret saying this by this time tomorrow, but one or two of us ought to have a look back at this thread and have a word with themselves.

Agreed. Fair bit of humble pie to be eaten. Well done the boys. To a man brilliant. And Warburton deserves alot of praise too. What pleased me most is we matched them in fitness. Enjoy all. We don't get many of those nights in front of the sky cameras.

Properly deserved that win. Great team performance, the only blot for me was the Wallace/Cameron balls up leading to the pen.

Willock great ball for Charlie and Albert, well exquisite finish.

Well f.cukin chuffed with that result.

A word on Watford - what utter dross, again. When we're sh1t I know why we're sh1t - what's their excuse? Imagine having to support that.

When we're losing games it's infuriating when MW comes out with the soft appraisal of the game and praises the squad but it has to be said that it obviously keeps them onside and they keep playing for him.
The turnaround in Kane and Barbet would not have happened with a publicly critical manager, he deserves credit as we couldn't afford to go out and replace under performing players instead he's kept their belief and lifted them.

Willock may have been a bit miffed to have been left out for Johannson. If he was, it's the perfect way to respond. Is he an option at wing -back with Barbet covering in behind him?

My thoughts entirely, wasn't impressed with them at all. If they were third it shows how shite the Championship is this year.

Kane has great energy, must be the fittest player at the club, man of the match for me though goes to Dickie, outstanding at the back, won all his duels, brings the ball out, looks like we’ve got some real quality there.

Couldn't watch the game so thanks for that, I'll say this again I think he'll be our POTY.
