Unless I'm reading that wrong, the ruling doesn't prevent player bans or club expulsions? It simply stops FIFA and UEFA from blocking the launch of the ESL.
As it stands, all six clubs are in breach of the terms of their membership of the Prem if they have entered into a binding agreement to take part in ESL. [Post edited 20 Apr 2021 18:08]

Barcelona have billions of debt apparently, and the demands are starting to come in, Messi wants to leave - but he's 34 now (or will be this year) and doubt anyone will pay what they want, Madrid always been bankrolled by Spanish government who I assume have bigger worries just now with COvid.

No. They cannot stop the Premier League taking action in relation to the Premier League Rules. The PLR is an English law contract.
Quite what jurisdiction the Spanish Court has got at all is open to debate. FIFA is a Swiss company and the FIFA Statutes are made under Swiss law.
Also, under Art. 59(2) of the FIFA Statutes, recourse to the civil courts for participants is prohibited.
I suppose an argument is that the ESL is not a FIFA organisation and therefore there is nothing that FIFA can do to stop it being created. That also suggests that ESL is created under Spanish law. | | | |

It's hard to believe the renegade clubs won't have considered those possibilities. They have lawyers coming out of their ears, who will have pored over precedent and consequences for all parties. They must surely know that this will be in court(s) for a very long time but it's very much a calculated risk they're willing to take. | | | |
