1) QPR 2 Everton 1 93/94 season

2) I think Oxford away at their old ground, but not 100%. Won 3-2.

3) QPR 1 Millwall 0 95ish

4) Bristol away in league 1. Their fans were bricking in the coaches, but thankfully didn't get to ours.

5) I won a table football competition as a kid and had Danny Maddox present a table football (the prize) to me. Pretty sure we played Wolves.

6) Oldham play off semi or Palace 6-0

7) Sheffield Wed to get promoted.

8) First time I went to Millwall away. Horrible atmosphere.

9) Cardiff play off final. Sadly had to miss the Derby game.

10) Trevor Sinclair bicycle kick

11) Can't think of anything specific.

1- possibly against Notts county around 90-91

2- Highbury. Lost

3- can't remember but I do remember Clive Wilson penalty against Millwall so maybe that.

4- port vale away

5- Women's euro final. Thanks Stowmarket!

6- missed Oldham so maybe palace 6-0 or Wigan semi final

7- seem to remember John Spencer having a blinder away at Oxford or reading very early season when the sun was still shining. That or beating Man City 3-1 at Maine road. Wimbledon away FA cup was amazing even though we lost and Old Trafford for Paul Ince is a W@nker will never be forgotten

8- Fulham away when Steiner got sent off.

9- Brazil Argentina world cup qualifiers. Edit - QPR would be at old Trafford for the FA cup

10- Sinclair v Barnsley

11- was it Hateley against Wimbledon in the cup at Selhurst? Just for the noise. Don't remember the goal.

1) QPR v Burnley, circa October ‘82. 2-0 down at half time, won 3-2

2) FA Cup semi final, Highbury, 1982. If league game then possible Arsenal (also Highbury) February 84, 2-0 win

3) FA Cup semi final

4) Home to Leeds towards the end of the second division winning season, 82/83 season.

1, Rotherham 1981.

2, Chelsea 82/83 season.

3, Home to Crewe in the milk cup. 8-1.

4, Arsenal away 83. Got caught up in Rangers attacking Arsenal fans after the game. Hid in someone's front garden.

5, The entire 87/88 season. I won a season ticket by winning a competition in the Today newspaper.

6, Chelsea 6-0.

7, Everton 0-3. Bradley Allen hat-trick and probably the best all round display I've ever seen.

8, So many to choose from, but I'm gonna go for Wimbledon in 1990 (I think). Lost 3-0, and it was so shite we were cheering throw ons before the end.

9, This will have to be Old Trafford, or the Emirates I presume.

10, Easy, Trevor Sinclair.

11, Easy again, Roy Wegerle at Leeds.

1. Think we beat Bolton 2 nil 1980

2. No idea. Can't remember

3. Again no idea.

4. Millwall Qpr. Probably I think 1987. Caged in with barbed wire at top of fences. And waited nearly hour after game then police escorted all away fans to nearest transport whilst taunts from very friendly not Millwall fans other side of police.

5. Never got in free as far as I can remember

6.i think for atmosphere there is two. One was knocking Arsenal out cup 2 nil. First goal 25 yard bullet by Kenny Sansom in the middle of a torrential rainstorm. Other one was Liverpool at home 3 - 2. Went 3 - 1 up against one of the best Liverpool teams in their history with a fantastic Mark Falco volley. Both standing in East Paddock. Three pound to get in. Best performance 4 - 1 win v spurs after being g 1 down at half time. Remember Wilkins diving header.

7. This one I do remember every detail. Went up with stonking head pains due to it being new years day in the year 1992. Me and mate went up on Supporters coach. Stopped off half way for refueling ourselves not the bus. Four one win. Wegerle missed sitter for 5 - 1. Against the first top team of the Ferguson era. We had been doing well but that really was the start of an incredibly successful two or three seasons for us.

Watched back on VHS - Elton Welsby and Denis Law crying into their g and t s.

8. Probably Swindon not sure but was possibly either 1 nil or 2 nil defeat. Prior to start if Swindon didn't win they would break record for worst start ie 16 games played and 0 wins naturally QPR obliged!!!

9. Non cup final. Guess you probably been not play off final also. Sadly was not at Zamora game but was at Millenium stadium v Cardiff play off final. 2003. Joy. Second visit to Old Trafford in Fa cup quarter finals I think. Lost two nil. Lee Sharpe I think got one. Probably around 65 000.

10.Saw sinclairs overhead kick. Wasn't at the game but saw live Taraabts goal v Swansea with a overhead flick, a nutmeg and a fabulous finish. Actually though my favourite goal where I just went wow was Willocks goal that was nominated for our goal of this season. What a fabulous run, very strong in holding players off and an unbelievable finish. Hope we keep him personally and he regains his top form. And any Eze goal to be fair. What an unbelievable talent and he makes.it looks so simple.

11. Was at a wedding but Wegerles away at Leeds. Really knew we had some ballers in that squad. But best away goal witnessed, in terms of drama, most definitely great run by Sinton, hits post and rebound falls to Dennis Bailey to score a hatrick. Felt like a dream, because it was so unreal.Best away goal though that really enjoyed, although I wasn't there. I think was goal for les s either second or third goal to put us either 3 - 1 or 4 - 1 up fantasic team move and a low bullet of a shot to finish and all the Everton fans clapped because our performance that day was special. Think we went 5 - 1 up with a 25 yard free kick piledriver by Bardsley in off the crossbar. They got two late goals but Les got hatrick two days before home to forest 4 - 3 win and then 5 - 3 away on the easter Monday another les hatrick. That was just WOW !!!

Number 12 to add

Worst refereeing performance

Gurnam Singh Home to Spurs

So unbelievably incompetent, you could have been mistaken that it was all one massive dare !!!

Outrageously biassed decisions. Think we only lost 2 - 1

But it was so so bad and there have been many dreadful referees here but there was something mildly insane going on that day. Not belittling the condition in anyways as its an awful condition to have but that day was bordering on PTSD !!!

1. QPR 6-0 Chelsea - 31 Mar 1986
2. Think it might have been Chelsea 1-1 QPR - 22 AUG 1989.
3. I forget. Possibly April 1986 and the other team wore yellow i think 🤷‍♂️
4. Same as 2 . Few bottles smashing around us on our way out.
5. Watford v QPR (the promotion game).
6. Probably QPR 4-1 Spurs 1992
7. Struggling with this one. Was lucky for my four league away games this season with 2 wins at Millwall Bristol city and two draws at Cardiff and West Brom.
8. Fulham 4-0 QPR 2015 with the we're fcking shit brigade.
9. Emirates in 2014 I think.
10. Can't get past Trevor Sinclairs goal v Barnsley
11. I did love that goal by Eze in that 2-2 at Villa Park New Years Day 2019.

1) what was your first home game (irrespective of location (white city etc)
1977 v Man City, 1-1 draw, Gerry Francis for us and Joe Royle for them.

2) What was your first away game?
If you don't count the 82 cup final replay, Spurs away in 1983 after promotion. Lost 3-2, good game.

3) First cup game?
I think 0-0 home v Spurs in 80 or 81, we lost the replay at White Hart Lane.

4) first game you felt uneasy due to the oppo crowd?
Palace cup QF 82. Was in the Paddock seats with My Dad near the away end. Got quite nasty after Clive Allen scored and taunted the away end (who had been giving him pelters all day).

5) Name a game you got in free?
A few at LR as a mates dad used to get directors box seats occasionally through his work. A 3-0 win v that superb 80s Everton side is one I remember, might have been the opening day of the season or at least the first home game. Trevor Brooking and the radio commentary lot were just next to us. Kevin Sheedy and John Bailey were sitting right behind us.

Later on my brother's sister in law knew Kevin Gallen and a couple of other young players so got free tickets for us a few times in the section where player families etc used to be. One was the dreadful 1-3 defeat to Swindon in their one season in the prem. At another I spent the first half slating Les Ferdinand's performance before realising his Dad was sat in front of us!

6) Best game (home) youve attended?
Chelsea 6-0 or the Newcastle 5-5. Also the Arsenal FA cup replay in 1990 was a fantastic night.

7) Best away game you've attended?
West Ham 3-0 opening day win in the late 80s. Yeovil away in the cup was a lot of fun and Man City for the incredible Jamie Pollock own goal. Also even though we lost, being part of the huge following at Old Trafford for the cup game in 95 was great.

8) Worst away game you've attended?
Luton away in the cup in the 80s, horrible atmosphere and lost 1-0 to an own goal.

9) Highest attendance you've attended for a non cup final?
Non QPR, full houses at Wembley for European cup final Barca v Sampdoria, some England games and an Arsenal v Spurs semi final (the one where Gazza scored a brilliant free kick and Spurs won 3-1. For QPR, probably the Old Trafford cup game in 95.

10) Best Goal, (home or visitors) seen at a Rangers ground?
For the moment, the Kenny Sansom strike v Arsenal in the cup in 1990 in torrential rain. John Byrne running through the Chelsea defence in the 6-0 also springs to mind.

For away teams I remember a great goal by David Platt for Villa and another by Andy Townsend for Chelsea.

11) Best goal youve seen at an away match?
John Barnes at Anfield in 88 where he dribbled past half our team and scored.

That Wall away game in 87 was scary. Very few QPR there and an extremely hostile home crowd who we wound up by backpassing our way to a 0-0.

I went with a Forest mate so even the tiny numbers in our corner were not all QPR!

First Home game was the 84/85 season QPR vs Watford we won 2-0 and I think Hucker saved a pen as well

First away game was Watford in the Milk cup , we won 1-0 Byrne scored and Barnes missed a penalty for them at 0-0

First cup game was the above

Have never felt uneasy at a game , even when the likes of West Ham , Arsenal & Spurs would be dotted all over our ground , I would say though that Forest always seemed to be up for it and seen a good couple of dust ups with them in the mid eighties

Never really got in free other than taking a friends season ticket for a game

Best Home would be Oldham just for the emotion and atmosphere but for pure footballing joy it would be the 4-1 against Spurs in 92 , that second half it could and should of been eight , we tore them to pieces and without Les as well

Best away day for me is an odd one but Watford away when Di Canio had taken over and we smashed them 4-2 I was so drunk and so convinced that in 3 years we would be playing champions league football, what an idiot

Worst game was a Tuesday night game in 98 ? Vs Tranmere 0-0 , both teams were pathetic

Probably man yoo in the fa cup 95 & league cup in 08

Sinclair by a country mile , was dead level with it in in the SAR , that was probably one of the best cup games I’ve seen at our place

Ainsworth vs Rushden not one but twice

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

7) The first and only Nottingham Forest win 2018

8) Away to Leeds 2004 and the Brian Dean 4 goals. Embarrassingly bad.

2) Genuinely can't remember - didn't really do aways as a kid as the only QPR kid in four, first vivid away memory is the relegation away game at Huddersfield in April 2001

3) QPR 4 0 Aylesbury in 95 when they switched the game to LR

4) Chased by 15 fully grown Cardiff fans after playoff final aged 15

5) Loads when my old man paid for my tickets!

6) The Oldham playoff semi always has a special place in my heart

7) Never managed to see us win away in a league game, good job I very rarely go to them as haven't the time or financial freedom

8) Probably the Hudds away game, absolutely gutted leaving that one

9) Has to be Wembley technically, or Old Trafford in League Cup back when Sam Di Carmine was leading the line

10) Taarabt v Swansea, could pick others. Shout for Nygaards 35 yarder...

11) Genuinely struggling to pick one out - many of my away forays have been 3-5 to nils sadly. The only goal popping into my head (bad memory, thanks to my teenager stoner ways) is the little Thommo lob away at Hudds

My contribution;

1. 1972. Can’t remember the opposition. Went with a school friend.

2. Tottenham in 1983. Lost 3-2 and Clive Allen got fined by the FA for his reaction after scoring the winner (the abuse he got was unreal).

3. Highbury Semi final 1982

4. Leeds cup tie in 1985. Had coins thrown at us (mostly 2p coins, it being Yorkshire). Pitch invasion by the Leeds fans at the end was very nasty. Never been so glad to see the coppers appear and chase them away.

5. None, but I won the club prediction competition one year and was met into the tunnel before s game and spoke briefly to most of the team.

6. The 5-5 against Newcastle, closely followed by the 2-0 against Arsenal in the cup.

7. Highbury semi final, closely followed by the promotion party at Hillsborough.

8. The 0-5 to Wimbledon at Selhurst was pretty bad.

9. 100,000 for England v. Hungary in 1981. It was going to be a dead rubber but then another result went our way so had a chance to qualify with a win. The tickets sold out rapido. Won 1-0 with a gold off Paul Mariner’s knee. What a noise.

10. Sinclair’s bicycle kick. I also enjoyed John Byrne’s goal against Chelsea in the 6-0.

11. Dead heat between Michael Robinson at Chelsea and Clive Allen at West Ham (the 3 drag backs).

9. No idea - Arsenal away in 1994?

10. Sinclair's wonder goal. Second is Ferdinand's thunderbastard against United for pure violence. It would have been Remy v Wigan if I'd been there. Still the purest strike of a football I've ever seen.

Great thread this. I was up late last night trawling through old programs and reminiscing about many people who are no longer with us.

1) At White City 1962-63 season. Can’t remember the opposition but can only recall it because we arrived at half-time and my Dad paid half-price (2 shillings) and my brother and I (7 and 5 years old respectively got in for nothing). Can remember my Dad getting quite annoyed at the guy on the first turnstile wanting to charge us full price.

2) Luton away with Mum and Dad when Rodney Marsh was playing but can’t remember the date. On my own, Leicester, First Division, 1974-75 season.

3) Leicester at home league cup, fourth round, 25 October 1966. We won 4-2 and as we were coming out I heard one of the adult supporters saying ‘same score as the World Cup final’. I remember thinking, as an 8 year old, ‘even I knew that’!

4) Stoke away 20 March 1976. Truly horrible incident after the match at Stoke station waiting for the supporters club train back home. About 100-200 of us Rangers fans were crowded into a small dark holding area with an entrance from the street and a locked exit onto the station platform. A load of Stoke supporters then arrived at the street entrance and mayhem ensued. Hard to believe this - but at least one and maybe as many as three mounted police rode into this tiny, dark holding area to break up the trouble. Doubt that anyone who was there will ever forget it.

5) See (1) above.

6) Versus Newcastle December 1973. Newcastle got a very late equaliser to 2-2. Then in what seemed like the last minute Stan Bowles scored a beautiful winner for 3-2. I was standing just to the right of the goal at the School End, right in line with the trajectory of the ball and I knew it was going in the instant it left Stan’s foot. Nothing better than a last minute winner.

7) Promotion game at Sheffield Wednesday May 8th 2004. Could only get tickets in the stands amongst the Wednesday supporters so we were sitting on our hands most of the game.

8) Versus Norwich in the 75-76 season lost 2-3 and everyone on the coach back to London knew we’d blown our chances for the league title. However, the very worst game I have ever attended was the 0-4 league cup home defeat to Newcastle October 8th 1974.

9) I’ve probably been in bigger crowds but the biggest crush I’ve been in was home to Man Utd, in October 1968. Looked this up just now, and over 31,000 were squeezed into Loftus Road. I remember my Mum, who rarely came to games, being quite distressed by the crush.

10) Gerry Francis goal v Liverpool at the beginning of the 1975-76 season. Glorious sunny day and I was again standing at the School End where the goal was scored. Actually, the goal looks even better on video than it did at the game.

11) Furlong’s goal to put us 2-0 up at Sheffield Wednesday (see 7 above). Not so much the goal but the fact that we knew we were getting promoted when it went in. I may be cheating, but Rodney’s goal to put us at 2-2 in the League Cup final at Wembley - with a skilful run and a shot from outside the area - struck me (as an eight year old at Wembley) as being particularly good.

1) 1986 v Sheffield Wednesday 2-2. McDonald & Bannister. Wednesday scored in the 45th and 90th minute, typical. Lee Chapman!

2) 1990 v Crystal Palace. I think D Peacock and Tilson were playing.

3) not sure, though I think it was Blackpool circa 1990.

4) Milwall at home 1990. As a 13 year old they were scary!

5) any home game between 92 and 95. I was a program seller, so watched every game for nothing.

6) 1989 v Liverpool. We were 2nd bottom they were 2nd top. 3-2 to the Rs!

7) 2-1 v milwall. My sons first away game, his comment at the end 'that was the best day of my life' made my day.

8) Peterborough. Nuff said.

9) playoff final v Cardiff.

10) I'm going for Mark Falco v Norwich 1989 I think. Volley, great technique, and beating Gunn in goal. I know everyone will go for Taarabt, but I'm sticking with this one.

11) Wegerle against Leeds. No explanation needed.
