Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out 23:26 - Nov 9 with 37455 views | Markofthegrove | I'll start by saying, this is not my forum usually. But the artist formally known as Twitter has become an echo chamber of monstrous proportion. Nourry needs to be removed from his post ASAP before he can do any more damage, there is a vandalism of our club happening and it needs to stop immediately. But how do we do it? I feel like fans and supporters groups have been weak for a long time now. There were some great folk back when we are in administration that were with QPR 1st. I've heard rumours of some stuff happening, but it needs to be coordinated and it needs to happen ASAP. I'd honestly be close to being done with QPR if they sack Marti who is the only bloody good thing about this club right now. Someone needs to bring this together, protests for protests sake do not work. It needs to have purpose, be targeted and ask the right questions and have the right people involved.

Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out on 10:57 - Nov 13 by 1JD | The club can resolve this situation in the short term by doing the following: - remove Nourry from the club - reinstate Hoos as temporary CEO (who is still in the background) - hire a real, experienced and previously successful DOF by Xmas. Go into the Jan window with an experienced leadership team that know what they are doing. And give us half a chance. |
Our incompetent, absentee owners will do none of those things.

Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out on 07:19 - Nov 14 by HammersmithR | One would assume that Nourry is still in his probationary year and can be saved at any moment for incompetence. The experiment of the lad on work experience has failed miserably and the board need to make the change now before he does anymore damage. |
if there is any truth in his involvement with the french web site who leaked the vignal rumour that would also be grounds for dismisal in most companies. if we go one down against stoke i wont say when , i can see things turning very bad very quickly for nourry .

Somebody posted that people are against him because of his age and he's posh, that's absolute rubbish, we have all given him plenty of time to create a stable club but all the points posted by 1JD on page 5 are damning evidence, we need somebody with experience in the position who is not just relying on analytics.

yeah nothing will happen to Nourry. As much as I love Les Ferdinand he should have gone a good 18 months before he did and even when he went it was him resigning rather than them doing anything, I don't think the owners are even aware of what the problems are The 2 likely outcomes are we pick up form, stick with Marti and he sees out the season or we lose the next 2 games, he gets the sack and the new manager quickly wins fans over by winning the odd game

Or we struggle in the next few games. Nourry sacks Cifuentes, hires a bloke who struggles to, we get relegated, and then we get into a new cycle in the league below.

Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out on 23:17 - Nov 10 by 1JD | The DOF (Nourry) shapes the overall transfer and recruitment strategy, evaluates priorities for squad composition, identifies specific regions and markets to shop in, and identifies age demographics and experience levels needed in the squad. Whilst the head of recruitment (Belk) carries out the transfer strategy operationally, working within the DOFs strategic framework. In practical language: The Nourry direction and decision to; - Shift from UK markets (Ireland, Scotland, England, league 1, 2, and premier league 2) and shop in European markets only - Bring in all 10 x new players with no championship experience between them - Identify players exclusively through data and statistics - Squad composition: Sell dykes and only go into the season with 2 strikers, loan Larkeche and only go into the season with 1 left back, not sign a play-making CM needed for Marti ball, etc, not sign Isaac Hayden and instead chose Ashby last minute etc etc - agree transfer fees, wages, contract lengths [Post edited 10 Nov 23:18]

Shift from UK - isn’t that because it’s cheaper? There had been quite a few that wanted us to look further than Uk - bring in 10 players…..looking at injured we have of last seasons players, we needed 15 players not 10! - we don’t know they only use data - everyone wanted Dykes gone. But yes we should have signed a left back and more strikers. We don’t know that Hayden was an option and I don’t it was we want Ashby not Hayden. - we don’t know the contract lengths Before season, Nourry said signing players was down to him, Belk, Marti and Xavi.

Yeah you definitely missed a third (and most likely) outcome from your list there Dave. Honestly if anyone at QPR tries to make Cifuentes the fall guy for this I will feel unlike I have ever felt about QPR. It would be the most ridiculous and pronounced mistake by a club that has made making mistakes completely routine. I honestly think this could get completely toxic. If they can Marti and replace him with someone that does no better (dare I say worse?), the vitriol will boil over. From the people that brought you Ramsey, McLaren, Beale, Critchley and Ainsworth as managers... you can absolutely see it coming.

Why are you so keen to defend the club's actions? Are you pleased with what you're watching? Do you think Celar is good enough to be 50% of out strike force? Are you happy with how our midfield is performing? Is Madsen doing enough for you? Or do you think all of those things are all Marti's fault after he revolutionised our form last year after 18 months of literally surrendering on pretty much a game by game basis?

I’m just trying to be a bit more balanced. I don’t believe our situation is down to 1 person. Injuries are the main reason we are in this situation. It proves to me that we have to sell / get rid of JCS and Colback. We can’t be so reliant on 2 players that are always injured. Fox should go too.

I don't think anyone would claim it's the fault of one person and I think many would be perfectly glad to see the back of several people that have had a hand in this absolute sh!t show. It couldn't be more obvious that changes need to be made. Serious ones. I don't know how low we would have to stoop for that to be more apparent. Given the 'Sports minded CEO' has signed off on this playing squad, it feels natural to start there, especially given his (at best) dubious career story and lack of experience. What's the alternative? Hope that a difference coach can cover up the chasms better? Then try another and another and another?

I like Cifuentes and I don't want him sacked, but I'm also not ready to rule out the possibility that he's not doing a very good job this season - and there are plenty of things to question on that count.

Since when has LFW been all about groupthink? James has made since good points in his recent posts on this thread, no problem if you disagree but suggesting you know what he’s thinking about the situation is off the mark.

Injuries are a big part of it, last season it seemed to be much better. Last season Ben Williams seemed to be far more involved, at the fans meeting etc getting things sorted that were in bad shape when he arrived. Now he's working for someone else, we're told he's still here but he works from Dubai and the injury situation has gone backwards. Who decided that our head of performance is a part time role that can be done remotely? On the face of it, it's an insult to our club and one that our CEO is happy to go along with. If Williams was employed through Retexo is there a conflict of interest there, otherwise I'm not sure how the club wouldn't be better off with some in that role at the training ground full time rather than this nonsense.

Well this thread is about getting rid of Nourry. If he leaves today, it won’t impact how many goals we score, how we defend and how many injuries we have. I don’t know what the answer is. But I would add that he didn’t sign off on the playing squad. He got rid of loads of dead wood and others that didn’t want to be here. All the injured players except Dembele were from last season. I’d say we had huge issues with the squad last season and shows what a miracle Marti performed but also how lucky we were with injuries. Should we have signed more strikers? Of course Madsen seems to be a terrible signing. Why did we sign Ashby and Santos? Those are down to Nourry clearly but was it just him involved? Did Marti have a say? The fact that Madsen turned up and went straight into starting side, shows to me that he must have had some involvement.

Or is it just that JCS and Colback are injury prone players. And we got lucky last year. We shouldn’t be so reliant on 2 players like that. But they are difficult to replace.

Do you think if Ferdinand had, in fact, not resigned, stayed, and worked with Marti - who he tried to hire earlier, despite Lying Christian Nourry trying to claim exclusive credit - QPR would be better or worse off? I think we'd be much better off, if not thriving. The summer transfers would have been managed so much better and lines of communication would have remained open. But no, clown memes, and we literally hounded him out. And here we are. Hoos needed to go. He was wrung out, as he good as admitted, tired, wanted to retire. We needed a new CEO for club facing business. The football side only ever needed the right coach. Now, we probably need a CEO and DOF, but first we'll end up looking for a new coach because...QPR.

Nobody has a problem looking further afield for new players in the slightest, it was something that needed to be done but it was done at the exclusion of looking at any players already in the UK. The squad needed a balance of new players, the Championship is unforgiving and a better league than people realise as a lot of quality has filtered down from the Premiership. We needed some of the new influx to have some Championship level experience, when you compare our recruitment to the rest of the division it looks poor and we spent money for a change. The budget that the club were working with was never going to allow for more than about 10 players, we are not Nottingham Forest we can't manipulae the transfer market, you need a second club to be able to hide transfer fees. Having lost some key players it was critical that we recruited well, now it's all personal opinion but a number of the new players look out of their depth, as a club we don't have the time to spend a whole season seeing if we can bring them up to speed. We don't know they only use data, which is true but I think nearly everything points to the fact that none of the players were actually scouted by the club, how many times do you think any of them were watched before we actually bought them. Everyone wanted Dykes gone, I'm not sure where you get that from, the bloke added a lot to the team in his hold up and link up play, admittedly he let himself down as he wasn't quick and couldn't dribble with the ball etc but the point being we've replaced him with Celar who looks a lot worse, were suffering because Frey is injured whose marginally better than Dykes. It's an absolute mess on the striker front we should never have gone into this season with only Celar and Frey as strikers. We should of pushed for getting a striker on loan, there were options out there..... The list goes on we should have signed a left back, according to a thread on here Hayden was an option but we went for Ashby , so we ditched getting Championship experience for a right back whose on loan from Newcastle. We don't know contract lengths that's for sure and it's embarrassing, Nourry thinks he can hide information from the fans that in some way gives him a tactical advantage, its a joke .... So the CEO has said that the signings are a collaborative process, how do we know that or have some of them just been dumped on Marti and he's been told to get on with it as he's the Head Coach, we are obviously not going to know any of the facts because Nourry has stopped our Manager doing interviews, is that not possibly telling that the CEO is frightened of what he might say.... There is a big injury list which is contributing to the clubs current situation, with a bit of luck it may improve but don't hold your breath, Marti deserves huge credit for last season in keeping us up I personally just don't want him made to be the scapegoat.

It makes it worse than both millwall and Oxford did it the correct way and bought in players from the English leagues mostly , and both I belive spent Way Less than we did , and both are Doing rather well . This is the issue with having zero experience in the football world Ona day to day basis . And it’s showing on a day to day basis , the kidnapping of marti for any non club statements is a joke as is the contract lengths being a big secret . Maybe he embarrassed by the length of some of them ,

You can bet your life if we were top of the league and his duds were playing well Nourry would be trumpeting the fact he got them to sign 4 and 5 year contracts. His silence on this is deafening and deeply worrying for our club looking at the dross he and Belk have dumped on us and the money he’s spent.

Fan Mobilisation - Nourry Out on 11:13 - Nov 17 with 838 views | davman | 9 pages in. Are we "mobilised"? What's happening at the Stoke game then? Nothing I guess. NINE pages of hand wringing and "woe is us" and still nothing happens. Listen, I get it - I am hurting like the rest of you; I WANT something to change. Its not the manager though, that's been tried. We've also tried changing the CEO and the DOF and still no change. Which leaves the owners. The real problem. So, go on hound them out and then let's wait and see what circles round the carcass of this club of "ours". It'll be worse I promise you. Its easy to say "let's mobilise, let's change". But identifying WHAT you want to change, what you want to replace it with and then making it happen are far, far more tricky. And, pre-empting the "well at least we're trying something" defence, well you really aren't; all you are doing is expressing angst on a message board screaming about how unfair it all is and how the club is being run abysmally. All true. Every word. Maybe I am defeatist, maybe I am a realist - dunno, but being shite really, really blows. Good luck to anyone who can do something; please step forward. The rest of you, I am with you that things HAVE to get better, but have no clue how.
